If it were me and I were in the Liquid white hat hacker's position, I would have taken the ~4000 Liquid bitcoin to stop others from doing it, then returned the full amount and then asked for a reward. I would have explained that as soon as I found the vulnerability, I thought by the time I did a responsible and private disclosure that someone else could have swept the funds. I would have hoped for a 1% reward from Blockstream for my good nature. The "white hat" taking ~15% is called theft.

Small communities are also why I built my Concord events app (and soon those lessons will be coming to Plektos). I have most of my local friends and family using Nostr now. Small community relays are one of the methods that Nostr gains adoption. Many have been preaching this for years, including myself. We need better governing and moderation tools for our small communities though. That part has been a missing piece of the puzzle. Nvidia's CEO says a company that used his GPUs created AGI. 😆 I haven't used Astra as I don't use OpenAI models, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I don't believe it. Is Astra a massive leap forward. From what I've seen on benchmarks and from what I've read, yes, it seems like it is a massive leap forward. Perhaps we'll have AGI in 6-9 months. What are your thoughts?

This is the new normal and it's party because of model gatekeeping. AI didn't break our software. It's discovering decades of human slop that was always there. It gets worse from here. Anthropic's answer: Project Glasswing, a private club of ~200 companies gets the defensive model. Everyone else is locked out. It's clear to me Glasswing will be seen as an overall failure. It will have saved the few. Chinese companies and their open models will save the rest. Open source. Open weights. Models the masses can run to secure the world, not Anthropic's Claude Mythos. Maybe Mythos already hardened the infrastructure and operating systems. But daily software? The apps, the libraries, the wallets, that's where the real attack vectors live. Why is Bitcoin getting hit? It's an easy target: direct financial gain, and no central authority coordinating a defense. Though, the Red Team is doing amazing work here trying to stay ahead of the curve. I look forward to the next model from DeepSeek, Moonshot, Z.ai, etc. that puts the power of AI into the hands of everyone, allowing everyone to secure their applications and their systems. It will be a race, but it's a race that the white hats and red teams will win. Stay frosty and stay bullish.
