Sharkbanz hired me to lead the charge on a new animated piece that could visually explain how their magnetic shark deterrent actually works, not just the “what,” but the why behind the science. I started with the script and storyboards, then cut a rough version using every scrap of reference material I could find. Originally, we were headed toward a more sketch-driven aesthetic, but when I found a CGI bull shark model that felt real, I knew we had to go deeper. This one was a true creative stretch, part commercial, part editorial, part science explainer… think Magic School Bus meets surf tech.

If something ignites visceral hatred in you, it says more about you than it does about the thing.

I listen to both podcasts with @ODELL & @HODL on @jack mallers @Danny Knowles and absolutely love all the takes and options. These guys are on point! The one thing I disagree with @ODELL on is deleting himself from X and all other social media…. As a film maker, I’ll use a film analogy / perspective… if your movie is the most important thing to you keep posting the teaser / trailer on as many platforms as possible to reach as many people as possible. It really doesn’t make sense to go 100% all in on primal when barely anyone is here yet… my 2 cents is would be to use the other platforms to promote this platform and bitcoin… eventually the best marketing for Nostr / Primal will be the continued censorship… but if you aren’t out there telling people you are just speaking to and already “in the know” crowd. Kinda pointless
