My experimentation with Instagram continues. It turns out they don't like frog memes or when I make fun of Palantir. Even saying GM seems to be Looked down on. So, GM, nostr.

The fun part about coding that I've discovered is that you bash your head against the wall feeling like a complete ignoramus for several hours and then all of a sudden something starts working and you feel like a God again.

I think my favorite part about working from home when I'm not traveling is I can just make food whenever the fuck I want. like I wanted tacos For lunch. so I spent 20 minutes chopping up some chicken real quick frying up some tortillas and bingo bongo fucking tacos. And I got some sourdough on the way. 🤌

So, out of maybe morbid curiosity, I created an Instagram account again. I know it's a mortal sin here, but for better or worse, (worse lol), I did. Here are some random thoughts from my first impression of being back on mainstream social media after spending a few years on nostr with no other accounts anywhere. You genuinely have no control over what you see. Your home feed is literally just algo slop fed to you. Which is, at least to my brain nowadays, completely repulsive. It's wild that I used to doom scroll that shit all the time. I reached out to some people I hadn't talked to since I left mainstream full social media in the first place despite having seen each other AFK, I got several messages from people who thought that I was dead. Apparently, some people don't think that there's a reality outside of social media or something. I noticed a significant spike in blocked DNS queries from metrics collections and trackers. No surprise there, but just kind of funny. nostr has its bumps and bruises. But I'm even more convinced now that it is a genuinely special place.

Organizing some local producer meetups. 😁 It's been too long since I've kicked it with music nerds.
