Out of all the things I'm unfucking this year, I think the one that I'm most stoked about is working to decouple my self from shit like Spotify. I hated it for a while. Then I got heavy into it. Now I'm kinda disgusted I stream so much music.
"Discovery" was my main excuse for things like Spotify. Once they learned my tastes in music, getting spoon-fed new music that I like was kinda nice, and I'm still hesitant to fully jump ship but also feel like it's time to be my own algorithm again.
