I have a homie who does IT stuff for US emabssys abroad. He knows I have sysadmin chops and ive been networking focused for a while now. He was laying on the recrutment speech super heavy last night. I dont think he understands just how much I hate our govement. America as a concept I love. But my detestment for the federal government runs deep. I'm not sure I could just ever stoop to becoming a lackey of theirs. Pay was fucking nuts though. Especially if I was willing to go to a dangerous posting. And despite my lack of religiosity, it would absolutely feel like selling my soul to the devil for money.
