“EuroCoin’s the future. No borders, no tyrants,” the group chanted. The boisterous protest was starting to succumb to the hot afternoon.
The movement had started a few months prior when some DC coffee shops whose store window stickers quietly marked the stores as non participants in the "only EBDC accepted here" and "this store says NO to patriarchy money".
The new digital EuroCoin now enabled a new kind of protest of the US government... Those in-the-know downloaded the EU digital wallet on their iPhones.
It was hard to walk around in the leafy historic enclave of Adams Morgan without being approached by pairs of proselytizers
"Have you downloaded the EuroWallet yet?" They asked unwitting passerbys. "You can use this map to only frequent the establishments that accept EuroCoins".
"Don't fund the awful Orange man and his orange ponzi coin".
Any suggestion of doubts about the new EuroCoin to these accolytes was met with a hearty "Have fun staying...."
