arguing with someone over whether narcissism is when someone can't change their schedule at all for others.
like the rest of the family wants to meet at a restaurant at X time and this person never ever can make it on time or make it at all.
also i'm pretty sure narcissistic people don't like dogs, right?

figuring it all out
I appreciate your humor, insight, and your post whether or not I agree
i watched this Ark episode about Stablecoins with Art Laffer and Paulo Arduino CEO of Tether.
Art Laffer encourages Paulo's company to really grow by going after US market instead of just the global south to become a better money than the dollar (inflation resistant) and bitcoin (less volatile).
They speculate about the competition.
I find it notable that they don't realize that Paulo's US-based competition is already here in Strategy's STRC product.
Perhaps Paulo can just make STRC available globally the same way he makes USD available globally.
the Mempool is like that double slit experiment. when I look at it, there is nothing happening and transaction fees are 1.
as soon as i send a transaction, the mempool fills up, and the transaction that was supposed to go thru in 10 minutes takes 24 hours and counting...
good advice for anyone contemplating gardening, and feeling guilty about plants dying etc

It's time to top up the steering fluid and change the oil in the 25-year old vehicle. On queue, my Walter Mitty-esque car contemplations start:
I astral project alongside a SUV speeding across a dusty desert. It's sleek, low-slung yet has ample ground clearance for overlanding in the West Texas deserts. lots of windows that open and a tow hitch. a dinghy sailboat trailer pops out of nowhere bouncing along behind. It's for reconnaissance missions of shoreline cactii and birds in Lake Amistad. the paddleboard on the roof racks deploys to investigate ancient paintings in water-filled caves. there's a feeling of excitement of possible run-ins with cartels along the Tex-mexico border. Billy the Kid is rumored to have held up trains in these parts. The Sunset Limited train whips up tumbleweeds, and i zap back to reality as i need to pee from the morning coffee.
Youtube already read my mind top of feed a "Car care nut" review of new Toyota 4Runner. This reminds me i really want to degoogle my phone to stop these creepy thought prediction/reading scenarios.
it looks like Toyota already anticipated this vehicle. it looks great, and it's made in Japan:

i've started slaking my interminable desire for ice cream with Sour Cream sprinkled with some sugar.
someone saw me eating a bowl of sour cream and was shocked at how unhealthy i was being.
i don't think it's unhealthy, especially if it's replacing ice cream. it literally has 1 ingredient : "cultured cream".
the amount of sugar i put in is far less than what is in ice cream.
why do people read "sour" and immediately think this is only for putting salt and using as a chip dip or something.
I read this while eating a bowl of ice cream:
"Some desire to have Christ speak from heaven as to Paul. Neglecting the word, they desire miracles, to save them the pains of study, prayer, and discourse. If men were not drowned in lusts and pleasures, all would be clear (Manton)."
"Voices from the Past" (Rushing)
"Voices from the Past" (Rushing)a children's fantasy novelist was concerned about putting her work online and being stripped by AI with no compensation for her artistry. so she is still pursuing legacy publishing to no avail.
my idea is that if she is worried about her IP being stolen by AI on the internet, the only way (that i could think of) is to timestamp it on Nostr uncensorable protocol.
as long as her NPUB has the first timestamp of the novel, it is provably her work.
does Nostr allow past dates when creating notes? this would make this theory of public IP creation invalid.
if the novel is languishing waiting for an agent (which will never happen and to what end---> see your book on a Barnes and Noble shelf?), wouldn't it be better to just post it onto nostr?
of course it will be stripped and permuted by AI and served up in other forms, but the AI will know where it got it from and ultimately she would get the credit for it if not the value.

there's a cult of dinosaurs. there are dinosaur parks everywhere. kids are fascinated with them.
who has done the unpleasant sweaty work of of actually unearthing these things. or did we just start hallucinating more and more types of dinosaurs.
i think they are all made-up nonsense. mainly because i like furry mammals. I'm glad there are no dinosaurs anymore.
if someone time traveled to the distant past, there would be a lot of pressure to just fit in to not be called crazy by talking about airplanes and smart phones. Soon enough the person would be indistinguishable from the era that they zapped back to.
