WM customer in the houndstooth flannel.
It’s awesome making a thing - putting it out in the world, and then seeing guys you’ve never met, of all ages, rock it and style it in their own unique ways that look great.
You can now find West Major at the pro shop at Shooting Star in Jackson Hole - a super nice golf and ski club right beneath the Tetons.
They reached out looking for some nice / higher quality western shirts for their store.
We usually do great at spots like this, so excited to see how we do up there 👀
Planning out some shirts / fabrics form spring / summer 2027 👀
I want more lightweight long sleeve, classic colors and stripes that we can keep in stock.
It’s awesome seeing customers wear and style our shirts, often better than we do
Shoutout to dad_rags in IG (wearing a bone ecru western shirt here)
Shirt tucked with a high waisted straight leg jean or pant is an absolute killer.
Anyone in Oklahoma?
Screen shot here is from a store called Brass Tacks in OKC, that carries West Major. They posted this photo on their story, and how they styled this shirt - I thought they killed it.
So took a screen shot. Sharing it here. If anyone is in or near OKC - go check them out. And try on a Ranger Linen western shirt 😉
Ranger Linen - in stock at Cave and Post in Phoenix (7th Ave and McDowell)
We’re still small.. very very very very small. Long ways to go 💀
BUT seeing our shirts in stores selling next to brands like RRL, Freenote Cloth, Schott NYC, Dehen, Redwing - still blows my mind, and also makes me think we’re onto something
There’s a lot of American-made workwear brands that make incredible stuff, but often using heavier denim and fabric.
We’re in Arizona, so I like to think we take a similar approach in terms of quality, and of course being American-made, BUT - we look for lightweight fabrics / colors that are better for the Southwest.
Like this 5 oz cotton-linen blend 🤠
I think I’ve made around 10,000 western shirts over the last 7-8 years. Some I’ve loved, some I’ve hated or liked it, but never really wore it.
This one I love and will wear. Super high quality and unique fabric - yet very causal. I like wearing it with jeans and a trucker hat.
If anyone is looking for a linen western shirt - the Ranger Linen - is now live.
Made from a lightweight 80/20 cotton-linen blend, with red yarn dyed stripes running through it. It’s got that dry / textured linen feel, but the cotton makes it a bit softer (and not as wrinkly in my opinion).
Cut and sewn in the U.S.A.
