When picking a hardware wallet, be conservative. I find it so hard to recommend any and trust Trezor the most to do it right. That said, multi-vendor multi-signature in theory is the most secure.

"The Machine Stops" reminds me a lot of what is happening with AI right now. The current LLMs motivated me to put energy into a bunch of side projects but I wanted to remain in control, so I didn't hand over the keys to the machine yet. But that also means I have to use these keys to bring the side projects' progress live. But that's such a pain, so I have some side projects with known bugs out there.
