I now have it working where I use Nix to configure the set of manifests that are created to be deployed by argocd to my kubernetes cluster. One of those pods is a small shim that links in the nix store and runs the application specified by another nix expression. This means I'll be able to define a container's environment in nix and deploy it to a pod without any of that mucking about with docker images. Fun times ahead. #nix #kubernetes #nixcsi #homelab
