Most will die with either being in debts or being robbed a last time by goverment, 50% in my current jurisdiction, for what you left for your offspring. Don't forget: Your income was heavily taxed. For most, while saving and making some money that gain was taxed. And most likely those gains where at Best good enough to just offset inflation... I won't even start about the period before you die..... We now have a peaceful way to escape this Goelag. Study #Bitcoin !

The "#Bitcoin data war" will just be another, hard needed, reminder you can't trust but need to VERIFY. 🤷‍♂️

You still have a free choice. Study #Bitcoin on your own initiative and save as much wealth as you can. Or be forced to use #Bitcoin, broken, poor, raped by the next fiat crisis. Probably forced to work for Satoshis or sell hard assets to get some.. The last financial crisis was 2013. Check the Cyprus bank crisis. That legislation is now implemented is most places. Since that last crisis nothing was resolved. In fact the problems and debts only got bigger. #Bitcoin, your own keys and unfortunately better not talk about it too much.

In my situation taxes on #Bitcoin are literally chasing me away to better jurisdictions. Imagine the change that is going to happen.... Countries will have to attract #Bitcoins just as they right now need to attract companies, investments and high net value individuals. Governments really don't have a clue what they are doing except for the usual short term, easy fixes they can come up with. PATHETIC !

Freedom is like a child. You can't just state you want it. You need to find the right partner. You need to have sex. Nine months of pregnancy. And that is just the start of it.... The child need parents, food, love, money to support it, responsibility, commitment. After some 18 to 21 years, it is supposed to be an adult... Wel give it a try...... Don't underestimate what freedom takes and what responsibilities go with it ! Wouldn't want life without either of them 🥰

I'm pretty sure that after the "block size war" of 2015-2017, we have now entered the "data war". Since this time the stakes are probably higher, the debate more complex and includes the basic way foreward on how to further develop the #Bitcoin release, I tend to believe this 'discussion' is going to take longer, and will have a bigger impact. Are we ready for another fight that will last some 2 years or more ? I see basically the same things being played out. Both sides arguing the other side doesn't understand, is astoundingly similar but still effective method. Uninformed parroting arguments and only distancing both sides. We again will have several fronts and I can't imaging there won't be even more money to be waisted in an attempt to influence. For some time I expect big parties to start to get involved. Perhaps they are but not yet visible ? Another aspect I'm disappointed to see is the little discussion on how to stop this from the root. #Bitcoin is a Protocol. It should be as stable as possible. To me that means no to an absolute minimum of new developments on the #Bitcoin protocol. New stuff can and should be developed on additional layers just like Lightning did. These things are needed. But the risks involved are huge.
