The problem with "verify don't trust" is that one needs to be or become an expert in all those fields..
For most a few expertises will already be hard, all will be impossible in a lifetime...
Does that confirm we have way to much knowledge compared to our wisdom ?
If we had a trusted database with all facts and without all the bullshit going around, it would be, beter, possible since understanding could be replaced with knowing and the time consuming verify for yourself could be reduced.
But that would imply a new evolutionary step since most money(power) nowadays is made by fooling people.
Imagine we would evolve and lies where erased, and we would have trust..... 🤯
Proven facts were available through a protocol like Satoshis are via the Bitcoin protocol...
Imagine all $ that have been put into the war machine, destroying things and humans, was put in Bitcoin and untill today kept there.
What would that value be able to, if used for good, to build things, to grow instead of destroying...

I tend to think a critical mass will start giving #Bitcoin the attention it deserves when the Bitcoin Market Capitalization will equal/surpass the Gold MC...

Things don't move in straight or predictable lines.
For some ten years I was invested in Precious Metal since at that time I didn't understand #Bitcoin.
Years ago I swapped my PM for what I consider the best Money available.
When PM finally started to move I didn't had any remorse.
I think those having PM deserved that uptick and more is to come.
But when people realize they will need #Bitcoin, and no I can't guarantee they will, the move of #Bitcoin will probably even scare me.......
