Vilnius Airport was shut down for several hours while the airspace incursion was investigated. After some time, what was initially reported as drones turned out to be a local custom that took the form of roughly 25x helium balloons smuggling cigarettes. Two of these balloons managed to fly over the airport, prompting the airspace closures. Analyst Comment: This is a fairly standard Saturday night in Lithuania. Almost 1,000 cigarette smuggling balloons were intercepted in Lithuania over the past year, with smugglers launching the balloons from Belarus where cigarettes are incredibly cheap. This practice is happening so often that the thousand balloons that are caught every year are the ones that get away; most balloons are successfully intercepted by smugglers (who have a GPS tracker on the balloons) once they land in Lithuania. -HomeFront- Washington D.C. - Yesterday morning a man was arrested during an incident at St. Matthew's Cathedral. Louis Geri was initially approached by police after setting up a camping tent on the front steps of the church before Mass. However, after a hostile interaction, a search revealed that he was in possession of a pre-made Molotov incendiary device, prompting his arrest. Geri was known to police and had previously been banned from the site for unknown reasons. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: This general area is known for vagrancy, however this individual lived in New Jersey. Right now it's not clear as to if the individual was attempting to conduct an attack at the church, or if he simply had explosives/incendiaries in his possession (as is becoming increasingly popular). Right now it looks like a crazy guy wanted to cause a scene at the Church, as pitching a tent right on the front steps is not normally an effective opening phase of a terror attack. Initially, there were concerns that the attacker was attempting to target churchgoers during Mass that Sunday morning. However, security practices were heightened due to the church celebrating Red Mass yesterday, a special Mass dedicated to pray for the Supreme Court Justices. This Mass is held at this Church once per year, usually on the Sunday before the court calendar begins. There aren't usually any Justices in attendance (for obvious reasons), but one or two have attended in the past. As such, this specific church usually has an increased security posture on this day, just in case an attacker mistakenly thinks that a Supreme Court Justice might turn up. If he did not know about the Red Mass specifically (as it's not something that's particularly widely known outside the Church), he was still up to no good by bringing explosives to the front steps of a church. BOMB THREAT DISRUPTS SERVICES AT MIAMI CHURCH.//  -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events- United Kingdom: This morning a complex terror attack was carried out in Manchester. One assailant began the initial phase of the attack by ramming his vehicle into the perimeter fence at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue. Once the vehicle came to a halt, the attacker exited the vehicle and attempted to gain entry to the facility. Police were immediately on scene, and as the crowd scattered, police were able to corner the assailant. The attacker attempted to detonate a suicide belt that he was wearing, but the S-Belt did not explode (the belt was determined later to be either fake or not a viable explosive). A few moments later, the suspect was shot by armed police, ending the attack. Concerning casualties, 2x people were killed and 3x others wounded during the attack. Analyst Comment: The attacker (who has not yet been identified) was probably targeting Yom Kippur events (which is today). Some time after the incident, two other individuals were reportedly arrested in conjunction with this incident a short distance from the initial attack site. However the status of these individuals is unknown, along with how these arrests are related to the initial attack. -HomeFront- New Jersey: Yesterday afternoon a fake active shooter incident was called in at JB McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Local authorities arrested Malika Brittingham (a civilian employee working for the US Navy) for calling in the fake active shooting, which resulted in the base locking down and local schools enacting active shooter protocols. Authorities state that Brittingham called in the active shooter because she was feeling ostracized by her coworkers, and that faking the active shooting would allow her to "trauma bond" with her fellow employees. Washington D.C. - Politics continues as the government remains shut down. This morning, several media outlets claimed to have access to a leaked letter that was sent from the White House to Congress. The letter allegedly contains a notice to Congress that the United States is now involved in a "noninternational armed conflict" regarding central/south American drug cartels. Analyst Comment: If this letter is being accurately described by journalists (which is a big "if"), this is quite the eyebrow-raising declaration. Since the letter itself is being withheld by media groups, there's no way to independently verify the information or if the context is being described accurately. Either way, the phrase "noninternational armed conflict" is an interesting choice of words as it sounds a lot like a war declaration without a war declaration. Until some level of clarification is obtained, it's all conjecture. However, the absolute lowest-hanging fruit of an assessment is that the conflict down south will not be ending or de-escalating anytime soon. Florida: Monday afternoon a man was arrested after making a bomb threat during the Liturgy at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Miami. This incident occurred on Sunday, however it's just now gaining wider attention due to the details of the case. Local authorities state that a man was clutching a backpack and was acting suspiciously during services on Sunday, which prompted a Deacon to approach the man. Upon making contact, the man handed the backpack to the Deacon, and stated that it was a bomb. The Deacon took the backpack, which was making a ticking noise, and placed off to the side of the nave. The church was not evacuated, and services continued as before. After a few minutes, a loud, piercing alarm was emitted from the suspect (which later was revealed to be the suspect's phone), along with an audible countdown to detonation. After a few more minutes, the man who brought the bomb suddenly ran to where the backpack was being stored, and placed his phone inside the bag. Services were allowed to finish, and at the end the would-be bomber (who remained unsubdued inside the church throughout the incident), stood up and shouted Allahu Akbar before departing. The man was arrested the following day, and was subsequently identified as Isaac Lopez, a Cuban national. After some time the bomb squad cleared the device as being fake, and the suspect was booked only on misdemeanor charges, and held under a $7,650 bond. No word yet on if any federal terrorism charges will be filed. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: If this incident had been real, this would have been a mass casualty event and MANY lives would likely have been lost. While hindsight is 20/20, theses types of incidents have already become far too common for anyone to take these threats lightly. As a reminder, a very similar situation occurred at St. Michael's Abbey in California less than a month ago, in which a mentally ill man with a vehicle full of weapons entered the Church and told the Priest that he was there to conduct a mass shooting. In the interest of time, we cannot wait months to examine every minute detail of this case; this is not to judge or nitpick the actions of the day callously, but to rapidly understand this event so that lives could be saved, if next time the bomb is real. Speculating a bit regarding this specific case, it is possible that Church leadership thought they were dealing with a potential mental illness situation, and that making a fuss would make the situation worse. This is becoming very common during church services all around the US, so this is understandable. However, all bets are off when someone says "I have a bomb", and their backpack is ticking. At that point we transition into the realm of counterterrorism, which many Church staff members are simply not experienced in managing (understandably so). In that respect, a basic understanding of what to do during a bomb threat is crucial. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Administration has produced both a Bomb Threat Guide and a Bomb Threat Checklist for those to use who do not have a counterterrorism background. These guides may be of use for Churches who do not have experience with such threats, and are linked below. But again, in the interest of time a quick and dirty explanation of what to do is as follows: 1. If a bomb is discovered DO NOT touch or move it. 2. Calmly but immediately vacate the premises. 3. Isolate the suspected explosive device (i.e. prevent others from going near it). 4. If the terrorist is on site and is an active and unchallenged threat, those who are so able must do what is necessary to save life and limb. 5. Once clear of the structure, call 911 as soon as possible to report the incident. Regarding the potential attacker, whatever means necessary should be undertaken to prevent the terrorist from re-gaining access to the bomb; allowing a terrorist to tinker with a potential explosive device in a packed Church is the least desirable possibility, and should be avoided at all costs. Considering that rapid, unplanned evacuations are not something that Churches may be familiar with, it will be up to the Deacons or the Priest to organize an efficient and calm evacuation outside. A good rule of thumb is that the blast zone for an IED is always bigger than you think it will be, and flying debris will be a threat for a considerable distance. As such, do not simply mill about immediately outside the front doors, but transition to a safe zone some distance away from the structure if able. If a scenario arises where a Church official is handed a potential explosive device, place the device on the ground as gently as possible and rapidly vacate the area. Homemade explosives are usually unstable and likely to go off with the slightest provocation, so moving the device at all is ill advised while the Church is being evacuated. Parishioners should refrain from using their cell phones until clear of the blast zone, as if the bomb has a radio-based trigger the use of cell phones might prematurely detonate the device. For any churches that have on-site security that use radios, the use of radio comms is also not recommended for the same reasons. Specifically with regards to the special considerations presented to religious institutions, and also understanding that services are a Holy time for worship, if there ever were a more pressing moment to interrupt a Priest during services, it would be when there is a clear and present bomb threat actively unfolding inside the Church. This would warrant the Priest delicately but firmly being made aware of the situation so that the facility can be evacuated promptly. Analyst: S2A1 Research:

IED THREAT DISCOVERED NEAR MUNICH, DELAYING SOME OKTOBERFEST EVENTS.//  -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events- United Kingdom: Social concerns and dissent continue as before. On Monday, Rose Docherty was arrested once again in Scotland for holding a sign in the general vicinity of an abortion facility which read "Coercion is a crime, here to talk, only if you want". Analyst Comment: This is the second time she was arrested under similar circumstances, with a nearly identical incident occurring back in February. Regarding that initial incident, the charges were eventually dropped in August. However, that did not stop police from arresting her under the same conditions anyway once again. For wider context, in Scotland specifically "Buffer Zone" laws have been a concern for some time since they don't just apply to protest actions in public...but also in private homes, as noted by American Vice President JD Vance (which brought a lot of international attention to the issue back in February, after her first arrest). More generally around the Kingdom, dissent is growing. A petition to scrub the Digital ID plans has reached over 2.7 million signatures so far, which is a not an inconsequential number regarding these types of government petitions. Nevertheless, the petition has so far been ignored, and the number of signatures continues to climb. Considering the very serious speech issues across the pond, whenever these incidents come to light it is often only American sources who can bring more eyes to these dystopian issues, since even talking about these topics in public forum is often an arrestable offense in the U.K. now. As such, while these incidents do not get that much attention here in the US, these are always worthy to note as the general situation continues to deteriorate as similar efforts pop up here at home. Germany: This morning Oktoberfest celebrations were briefly delayed following an explosive threat in Munich. A fire broke out at a residential building, which resulted in loud bangs being heard by locals as various unknown items cooked off inside the burning structure. Upon responding to the incident local authorities indicated that this may not have been a standard house fire, but rather linked to some sort of explosive threat. One person was reported deceased in conjunction with this investigation, but details vary regarding this person's status. Authorities have also stated that one person linked to this case has been reported missing, however that person's remains may have been located inside the structure. Authorities also stated that the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute that involved the paternity of the deceased suspect's daughter. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: The media coverage of the Oktoberfest "explosive threat" has been confusing at best, but the discovery of multiple explosive devices strongly indicates that this incident is not a simple domestic. Just to be blunt, we don't know if the suspect was a German man, or a "German man", so until that detail is known this whole situation could either be a very rare and obscure (but still horrific) case that is purely a case study, or it could be a continuation of the new normal regarding terrorism threats around Europe. German authorities in typical fashion are not making it easy to determine what happened here, so some speculation is needed to piece together the basic facts of the case and to determine if any threat *still remains* regarding the final days of Oktoberfest. But rounding up all of the evidence released to the public, a general sequence of events can be organized: A 57-year-old "German" man engaged in a family dispute at a home in Lerchenau this morning. That dispute resulted in the home being set on fire, and upon the fire services arriving on scene, explosive devices were found inside the residence along with the remains of a 90-year-old man that is assessed to be the suspect's father. Separately, a 57-year-old man was identified as the arsonist, before fleeing the scene with police in pursuit. An 81-year-old woman (the suspect's mother) and a 21-year-old woman (the suspect's daughter) were also injured as a result of the fire. Some time later, the suspect was discovered deceased at some location near a lake adjacent to the original house fire location. The man appears to have taken his own life, and had a backpack with him that also had improvised explosive devices inside. At some point during the investigation, authorities discovered a note written by the deceased suspected bomb maker, which referenced Oktoberfest (thus the link to the event). PUTIN CALLS UP 135K CONSCRIPTS FOR WINTER FIGHTING SEASON.//  -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events- Russia: Yesterday President Putin issued the semi-regular call up for military conscription for this winter, which has topped 135,000 troops this season. This is the largest callup in recent memory, with most sources claiming that it's the largest draft since 2016. -HomeFront- Washington D.C. - Yesterday morning a parked US Secret Service vehicle caught fire at the corner of 18th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest. The cause of the fire was stated to be an electrical problem, and no one was injured during the incident. In Congress, a government shutdown looms as lawmakers remain in a budgetary deadlock. The White House stated that a government shutdown is likely, and all parties do not seem to be interested in the last-minute deals that normally take place during shutdowns. Analyst Comment: Of note, headlines this morning have circulated regarding "100,000 federal employees resigning en masse", usually with fantastical subheadings to imply that these 100k employees walked off the job this morning. This is not true. These "resignations" are actually the result of the DOGE initiative called the Deferred Resignation Program (DRP) from a few months ago. This program offered government employees a buyout of their employment so as to downsize many agencies by removing positions altogether. Around 100,000 government employees took this buyout, and thus the misleading headlines referencing 100,000 resignations this morning. Nearly all of these positions were already defunct weeks ago, this is merely a formalization of downsizing efforts by officially removing these positions from the payrolls of various agencies. Virginia - This morning the much-anticipated consortium of Flag Officers began at Marine Corps Base Quantico with a different kind of downsizing. SECWAR Pete Hegseth had originally called the secretive meeting a couple of weeks ago, summoning hundreds of general officers to discuss unknown topics. A few days ago it was announced that President Trump himself would also be attending the meeting. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: Due to the initially secret purpose of this meeting, speculation abounded regarding why this many general officers would be called to an in person meeting without the topic of discussion being conveyed ahead of time. This led most to speculate that the topic of discussion would be the rampant insubordination from within the gargantuan Flag Officer corps, which has been a mammoth problem since President Trump took office. As the enormous meeting of generals got underway this morning, the true topic of the day was revealed to be more corpulent in nature: no more fat generals. All service members regardless of rank or girth will now be required to pass a PT test twice per year...no more waivers (allegedly). Other sizable details mentioned during the hefty address are the return to a more lean and warrior-focused military culture devoid of transgender ideology, climate change considerations, or other recent additions to the Pentagon's means of operating. All in all, while the massive firings that were hoped for did not take place, calling generals fat to their faces and livestreaming it to the internet is a worthy consolation that will certainly improve morale among junior service members. Granted, getting 4-Star Generals to actually take a PT test (instead of having their staff pencil whip the paperwork as usual), is a colossal undertaking that if achieved, will be no small feat. DRONE REPORTS CONTINUE IN DENMARK.//  -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events- Denmark: Various drone incursions continue as before. Over the weekend Denmark ordered the grounding of all civilian drones throughout their nation in an attempt to isolate the incursions that continue to take place at airports and sensitive military sites. Analyst Comment: This morning Denmark unexpectedly called up an unknown number of reservists into active military service. France and Sweden have also begun the process of sending counter-UAS systems to Denmark to help secure the upcoming EU summit in Copenhagen on Wednesday. It's not supposed to be a major summit (comparatively speaking), but security is still a concern due to the general tensions throughout Europe remaining high. -HomeFront- Illinois: Civil unrest regarding immigration detention facilities continued over the weekend, with several arrests being made at riots outside the facility in Broadview. DHS sources state that 11x people were arrested overnight at this facility, at least one of which was arrested with an improvised explosive device of some kind in his backpack. Texas: Sunday night a mass shooting was reported at the Lucky Eagle Casino in Eagle Pass. Local authorities identified the shooter as Keryan Rashad Jones, who was apprehended after a short vehicle pursuit. 2x people were killed and 5x others wounded during the attack. Analyst Comment: The circumstances leading up to this attack are not clear; the only details that have been released are those of the casualty figures and the name of the shooter. Considering the context of the location itself being a Casino, it's likely that the motive for the shooting is related to that, however it's still not clear as to if this was an impulsive shooting or something more planned. More details are expected as court docs get released later this week. North Carolina: A mass shooting was reported at the American Fish Company in Southport. Local authorities state that Nigel Edge was operating a small boat in the waters off of the waterfront when he began firing at the shoreline in the general direction of the American Fish Company and The Frying Pan Restaurant which was immediately adjacent to the fish company, which was hosting the usual live music and entertainment typical for most establishments in the area. 3x people were killed and several others were wounded in the attack. Edge was able to egress from the area down the Intracoastal Waterway, before he was apprehended while loading his boat at a nearby boat launch. Michigan: Sunday morning a mass shooting was conducted at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc. One gunman conducted a complex attack at the Church at approximately 10:30 am, targeting those arriving for services that morning. The assailant began the attack by ramming his vehicle into the Church, before exiting and conducting the shooting phase of the attack. At some point during the engagement, the attacker is suspected to have deliberately set the Church on fire before he was engaged and the attack halted. After the attack, multiple IEDs were discovered in the the assailant's vehicle, which either failed to detonate or were not used during the attack. Concerning casualties, 4x parishioners were killed, and 8x more were wounded, the conditions of which are not yet known. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: The suspected shooter in the Michigan attack has been identified as Thomas Jacob Sanford, who was killed during the attack. Right now reports conflict on who ended the threat; some reports state that law enforcement engaged the shooter, whereas other reports have stated that it was a parishioner who was concealed carrying a firearm in violation of Church policy. Either way the shooter was killed and the attack stopped. From a very wavetop level, the randomness (yet the deliberation taken to plan these attacks) is the most useful bit of information to glean from both incidents. Both the Michigan and North Carolina attackers planned their respective attacks for some time, selecting soft-targets that they knew would not be protected or offer much resistance. Both attackers also used vehicles for rapid ingress to the attack site. The Southport shooter clearly planned to egress from the attack site after the attack, and thus conducted the shooting from some distance (as the attacker valued his own survival). Conversely, the Michigan shooter closed with his selected targets and engaged from close range, as he very clearly did not intend to survive the encounter. //The Wire//2300Z September 26, 2025// //ROUTINE// //BLUF: MISSING PERSON CASE IN FLORIDA HIGHLIGHTS MEDIA MANIPULATION CONCERNS DURING ACTIVE AMBER ALERTS. COUNTER ICE RIOTS INTENSIFY IN CHICAGO. CRACKDOWN ON SPEECH CONTINUES IN UNITED KINGDOM.//  -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events- United Kingdom: The censorship and speech targeting concerns continue to deteriorate as another wave of arrests has emerged among right-wing political commentators. Steve Laws and Pete North have been arrested over the past few days, as PM Starmer continues to state that the U.K. has freedom of speech. Nonetheless, the arrests continue, not just among more visible influencers, but among laypeople as well. Analyst Comment: Hundreds of arrests have been reported all around the U.K. for social media posts, with most of these arrests only coming to light from family members who notice the arrests. This is due to gag orders being placed on the detainees, so that they can't even talk about why they were arrested, or else they will get slapped with higher charges. This is to ensure that the speech crime arrests go largely unnoticed, since public outcry would result if high profile arrests are made. Since the courts are now routinely placing gag orders on people who are being arrested on speech-crime charges, the sheer scale of how many arrests are being made is impossible to know. -HomeFront- Illinois: The situation in Chicago continues to deteriorate as more counter-ICE riots escalate. Various blockade-type actions remain the main vector for rioters to hinder ICE actions, such as at the detention facility in Broadview. Iowa: This afternoon a high-profile ICE raid was carried out, targeting Dr. Ian Andre Roberts. Roberts was the superintendent of the Des Moines Public School System, but he was also a fugitive and illegal immigrant from Guyana who had an active deportation order since May of 2024. After his case was reopened, ICE agents made contact with him today, after which he fled on foot before a K9 unit apprehended him. He was arrested in possession of a firearm, a large knife, and several thousand dollars. Florida: Yesterday evening a high-profile Amber Alert was issued for a hostile abduction of a 17-year-old in Marion County. Caden Speight has been found, but was initially reported missing after what was initially described as a very kinetic kidnapping. The victim's family received a text message that indicated he had been shot and kidnapped by 4x Hispanic males in a light colored van. Local authorities located his abandoned vehicle on Hwy 484 (which had at least one bullet hole in it, according to the initial story), and Speight's phone was also recovered at the scene broken in half. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: Something is not quite right with this case, and despite the obvious media hooks to sensationalize this story, nobody really knew what was going on as the details of the search continued to change throughout the day. This morning, investigators stated that the initial details of the incident were determined to be false, and that the current evidence available does not support the abduction story. Investigators stated that he appears to have departed from the initial incident site on a bicycle, possibly with a red and grey tent that was purchased using his credit/debit card at a Walmart in Ocala shortly before the incident. At the time it appeared as though this may have been a runaway situation portrayed as a violent kidnapping. However, as the situation continued to develop, notices from officials changed from an Amber Alert to caution, urging citizens to not make contact with Speight if he was discovered. Shortly after this change in tone, Speight was reported to be found, with a gunshot wound to his leg. However some reports suggest the opposite, and that he was found without any wounds (as indicated during the live press conference with the Sheriff's Office). From an investigative perspective, this is not entirely a novel case. Often times individuals make compounding decisions that don't necessarily make sense to us, but to the individual themselves their actions do make sense. Whether this was a very elaborate hoax that involved a self-inflicted gunshot wound, or of this was something else remains uncertain. The only details that have been confirmed beyond reasonable doubt is that the abduction story was not true and that Speight is no longer missing. All the other details in this case are up in the air, and will take some time to clarify. Of note regarding this case, as interesting as a potential hoax case is, one aspect of the story remains absolutely critical to investigate further, as it has wide-ranging implications beyond this incident itself. Initially the Amber Alert was sent out that described Speight as wearing a red MAGA hat, and that he was possibly abducted by 4x Hispanic males. As these details are highly sensational news, this received a lot of media attention. However, these details were false....right now it looks like someone forged the original Amber Alert notice mere minutes after it was released to include the detail about the MAGA hat. No record can be found that the Marion County Sheriff's Office ever issued this notice; all of the notices that can be traced back to official government accounts make no mention of the MAGA hat. Speculating to some degree, either one of two situations is likely: Either the Sheriff's Office issued the Alert including the detail of the MAGA hat, but corrected that report later on OR this was the work of malign actors that, as a missing person case was ongoing, immediately issued forged Amber Alert notices, altering the details of a missing person so as to sensationalize the news story. Considering the implication of the latter, this needs to be investigated more thoroughly; not enough detail exists at the moment to know for sure what happened. If the Sheriff's Office was mistaken in their description (but later corrected their mistake), fair enough, these things happen during the fog of war as part of immediate and time-sensitive rescue operations. However, if authorities NEVER mentioned the MAGA hat detail, and that part was forged by media from the very start, we may have bigger problems at hand. The origin of this "MAGA hat" detail is important, but even so nearly every media outlet repeated this detail exclusively, even though right now it's nearly impossible to find the origin of this initial claim. Only one screenshot of this allegedly "initial" Amber Alert notice exists, so if this was a genuine error that was corrected, it was corrected immediately and most journalists somehow managed to not update their stories. Erring on the side of caution, this is a very strong and serious reminder to ALWAYS receive missing person reports from official government accounts, not reposts or screenshots. Missing person reports and many other types of potentially criminal situations are squarely in the realm of what tax dollars pay for; nobody wants to trust government sources for anything these days (which is fair enough), but in doing so many people forget that no "independent journalist" answers the phone when someone calls 911. Missing person cases are squarely in the realm of having to go by what authorities publish, and if those details change, it's best to get those details right from the primary source...because the secondary sources might be altering details of the case. It's also very likely that, now that people are paying attention, more people will confuse legitimate drone threats with commercial aircraft, as has been a trend lately. -HomeFront- Mississippi: This morning 911 call center services went offline for the entire state, which local authorities state were caused by a "series of fiber optic cuts". Analyst Comment: Right now it's not clear as to if this was the result of malign action, or by accident. Generally speaking it would be a bad idea for an entire state's critical infrastructure to be vulnerable to one swipe of a backhoe, but it's certainly possible. Illinois: A Chicago police officer has been indicted for smuggling weapons for cartels in Mexico. The indictment states that Officer Kevin Rodriguez used his law enforcement credentials to purchase firearms that were illegal for normal citizens to buy in the states of Illinois and Indiana. He was then paid by a cartel member by the name of Diego Valdez, who took possession of the firearms and smuggled them into Mexico. Analyst Comment: This scheme allegedly ran from September to December of 2024, and so far all of the court documents indicate that only two rifles were smuggled into Mexico. However, this may be a larger network, as these types of arrangements usually go on for some time before they are detected. Alaska: This morning US Air Force aircraft were scrambled to intercept Russian bombers off the west coast. A flight of Russian Tu-95 BEAR H aircraft were observed approaching the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ), which prompted American aircraft to intercept them and escort them during their flight near American airspace. Analyst Comment: This is a fairly standard event that usually goes unnoticed most of the time. However, this case is probably related to President Trump's recent comments on Russia's incursions in Europe, namely stating that European powers should shoot down Russian aircraft that violate their airspace. New York: As the UN General Assembly continues, President Trump met with the new leader of Syria, Ahmed Al-Sharq, where he is expected to be a focal point of this year's summit. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: As a reminder, Ahmed Al-Sharq changed his name upon seizing power a few months ago. MULTIPLE ACTIVIST GROUPS CONTINUE TO URGE VIOLENT ATTACKS.//  -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -HomeFront- Texas: At approximately 06:40 this morning the ICE detention facility on North Stemmons Freeway was targeted by a sniper, who engaged targets from the roof of a two-story office building directly west of the ICE facility. No ICE agents were hurt during the attack, but 1x detainee was killed, and 2x others were wounded, both of which remain in critical condition. The shooter has been identified as Joshua Jahn, who was found deceased on the roof of the office building. Nevada: This afternoon a shooting was reported at Nellis Air Force Base, which resulted in Security Forces shooting one individual. Local authorities state that a man approached the main gate firing a weapon, before being challenged and subsequently shot by base security. The individual survived the engagement, and was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for a non-life-threatening wound to his arm. No word yet on the suspect's name, and no base personnel were wounded during the engagement. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: Around the nation, various armed groups have made increasingly more public attempts to organize and plan operations. This afternoon locals observed flyers being placed around Georgetown to advertise the John Brown Gun Club, a far-left armed militant organization directly tied to ANTIFA and the attempted bombing of an ICE detention facility in 2019. Regarding ANTIFA, various daily riots and civil unrest continues in the usual strongholds of Seattle and Portland, with smaller demonstrations and protests taking place at various places around the country. In Eugene, Oregon a small group of ANTIFA members attempted to besiege the ICE facility before several arrests were made. Separately, in New York threats to a Presidential visit to Farmingdale have come to light from the 50501 movement, which is organizing "protests" to target President Trump during the Ryder Cup event that he is scheduled to attend on Friday. Flyers have been posted sporting the typical thinly-veiled rhetoric that is extremely common among far-left activist groups, with one flyer announcing "protest" times by using the phrase "Early bird gets the Trump". The 50501 movement is a self-described anti-Trump political movement, most of which involves violent rhetoric that has expanded to include counter-ICE targeting efforts. Even as recently as a few days ago, this group was openly and clearly posting calls to shoot ICE agents on Reddit, with no hint of any opposition to their attack planning being conducted in the open. In Dallas, the FBI released an image of a stripper clip found at the sniper's position, which featured the words "Anti-ICE" written on at least one of the bullets. Consequently, it's very likely that this individual was attempting to target ICE agents arriving for work, randomly shooting into the building at an unmarked van that was attempting to enter the facility through the sallyport to the rear of the building. Instead of successfully hitting ICE agents, the shooter fired blindly into the structure, and accidentally shot three detainees who were being transported inside the van. Sometimes, malign actors come about (or are activated) to conduct attacks for reasons that are not immediately discernible (though usually residing in the general realm of mental illness). Regarding this case however, the general motive is quite clear; the bullet holes in the facility don't leave much room for doubt. Shooting up an ICE office with "Anti-ICE" written on the bullets is about as clear of a motive as is possible to convey. Despite this, there will be endless speculation regarding most of these types of events; every possible motive will be thrown out as a theory. Either way, the internet will do internet things, but the risk remains the same: real people are dead and the open threats and calls for this exact type of violence continue to escalate all around. More broadly, many groups have learned from the effectiveness of the Kirk assassination, and are now making good on the threats they have been shouting for years. And as illustrated by the Dallas shooting, there are other big-picture concerns besides the immediate crime scene, which complicate the situation even more. RYAN ROUTH FOUND GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS.//  -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events- Europe: The drone shenanigans continued throughout much of the night in Copenhagen, with footage from eyewitnesses indicating that the aircraft that were observed were much larger than the standard quadcopters that are usually the culprits regarding airspace violations. Analyst Comment: So far there has been no indication of what this situation was all about, but the aircraft were fairly heavily documented. The aerial platforms weren't exactly operating covertly, but they did leave on their own. Considering the overall tensions in Europe, most speculation has pointed to these being Russian drones, or if not Russian in origin, something to do with the war. Either way, there's no way to know for sure at the moment. -HomeFront- Florida: This afternoon, Ryan Routh, the second would-be Trump assassin was found guilty on all counts pertaining to the attempted shooting at the Trump International Golf Club in September of last year. Upon the verdict being announced Routh attempted to stab himself with a pen, unsuccessfully trying to injure himself. Routh was briefly removed from the courtroom, after this incident, before being returned to conclude the trial. Analyst Comment: As a reminder, Routh chose (and was allowed) to represent himself after he felt discrepancies with his court-appointed team of attorneys, and thus was granted more leeway during this trial. Considering that he had written a note confessing to the crime in explicit detail, his arguments were unsuccessful, leading to his conviction on all counts. New York: Yesterday evening the US Secret Service announced the dismantling of a major telecommunications threat allegedly targeting the UN General Assembly currently underway in New York City. The USSS uncovered a series of locations concentrated around the UN building, which were configured to degrade communications around the city, mostly in the form of hundreds of SIM servers and around 100,000 SIM cards. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: At face value, these locations appear to be configured to swamp cell towers with increased traffic, so as to degrade cellular networks. As to why this attack vector was chosen, it's anyone's guess. Normally, attacks that are meant to degrade (but not exploit) a certain communications method are used as a way of social engineering...if a target's cell phone doesn't work, they might be inclined to use a different comms method that is more easily surveilled. Though this is pure speculation, what is very clear is that there is a very high likelihood that the UN General Assembly would be a target for many different malign actors, to include nationstate-level intelligence operations. There are many different ways to target a meeting of world leaders that is vastly easier than strategically renting apartments around the city, to fill with a bunch of electronic hardware. In their press release on the operation, the USSS did not comment on what exactly these sites were being used for; their statements were more generalized, and that these locations could be used for a wide range of attacks and surveillance operations. Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and a handful of others have been the biggest power-players to add to the list of nations which have recognized the legitimacy of the Palestinian government. Analyst Comment: As with most diplomatic endeavors in the region, this move will probably result in very little impact overall. Most of these recent recognitions are probably last-ditch political moves to urge a two-state solution at the eleventh hour. Nevertheless, these statements will probably draw the ire of the United States to some degree, which is still negotiating trade deals with some of these nations. Washington D.C. - Over the weekend the White House backtracked on the recent changes to the H-1B visa system. Despite Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick stating in the Oval Office on the day of the announcement that the $100,000 fee for visas was per employee per year, the White House issued a "fact sheet" that reversed these statements, and that this is a one-time payment for companies seeking to hire non-American workers. Also in Washington, President Trump signed the Executive Action this afternoon designating ANTIFA as a Domestic Terrorist Organization. Analyst Comment: And now we wait. The verbiage of the order itself is not entirely indicative of how various federal agencies will respond to this, or what the outcome will be. Ordering agencies to police crimes that are already illegal isn't much help, but moving forward the most obvious theory is that federal terrorism charges might get slapped on any ANTIFA "Direct Action" attacks which are fairly standard in most major cities during periods of heightened tension. Only time will tell if various federal agencies are serious, though. Mississippi: On Saturday a hit-and-run accident was reported in Gulfport, which resulted in the death of a cyclist. Xavier Omar Rigby was arrested after hitting the victim with his vehicle, and driving approximately 8 blocks with her body on the hood of his car. Rigby fled the scene without calling 911, and was later arrested in St. Petersburg. California: The gunman which attacked an ABC broadcast station in Sacramento was detained over the weekend. Federal authorities state that Anibal Hernandez-Santana (an attorney, activist, and political lobbyist) conducted a drive-by shooting at the ABC Channel 10 television station in Sacramento. Analyst Comment: The motive for this shooting has not yet been released, but the shooter's posts on social media indicate the motivations for this attack. Even his own attorney has stated that the primary method of prosecuting him (besides the bullet holes in the ABC station) will be the radical posts that his client made on social media. New Hampshire: A mass shooting was reported over the weekend in Nashua, as a gunman targeted a wedding ceremony at the Sky Meadow Country Club. Local authorities arrested Hunter Nadeau at the scene, after event goers tackled him to stop the shooting. Despite these best efforts, one individual was killed in the attack, and around 6x people in total were wounded. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: Regarding the motive for the Nashua attack, witnesses state that the shooter shouted pro-Palestine statements during the shooting. However, investigators have stated that the shooter actually shouted many different statements so as to cause confusion during the attack and obscure his true motive. Right now there is not enough evidence in the public eye to determine what the true motive for the attack was with absolute certainty, but there are many indicators that should be noted. For one, targeting a wedding reception is an unusual choice for a terror attack since it is usually something that is not really on the radar of many would-be attackers...there are far more reliable targets for malign actors to select, as opposed to a wedding which is not explicitly a political target. Secondly, the wedding appears to have been for an Italian family, causing even more questions as to why an allegedly pro-Palestine activist would target this event. What is more likely right now is that this individual was determined to conduct a shooting for one reason or another and chose this venue due to a personal connection...the shooter allegedly used to work for this country club and therefore knew the location. Analyst Comment: It's not clear as to if this is a technical problem unrelated to censorship efforts, or if this website was taken offline due to noncompliance with the Online Safety Act. Either way, this app has a very large userbase, so answers will be sought regarding what is going on. Estonia: This morning several Russian fighter aircraft reportedly violated Estonian airspace. Estonia stated that 3x Russian MiG-31 fighters entered their airspace, remaining inside Estonia for 12 minutes before departing. 3x Italian F-35's were scrambled to respond to the incursion, though it is unclear as to if the Russian aircraft were actually intercepted. This morning Estonia enacted Article 4 of the NATO charter, which mandates a meeting of NATO to discuss the incident. This afternoon, Polish authorities reported that 2x Russian fighter aircraft conducted a low-pass flyover of a Polish oil rig platform in the Baltic Sea. -HomeFront- Utah: A truck driver was arrested yesterday after a minor traffic incident led to the discovery of two children in the back of his truck. Jacob Ortell Scott was arrested after two girls (aged 12 and 14) were found in the refrigerated trailer he was hauling, which turned out to be his sisters. Analyst Comment: Very few details have become public regarding this strange case, but local journalists are set on this not being a human trafficking case, simply because the driver was related to the children in his trailer. This is not a certainty, and the mere act itself is exceptionally suspicious; this could have been trafficking or attempted murder, or anything in between. Illinois: This morning local tensions flared in Chicago as activists have intensified operations to disrupt ICE, with local politicians urging resistance to deportations as well. Various ICE facilities around the city have been targeted by demonstrators attempting to prevent access to the facilities. Several federal vehicles have been attacked and the tires slashed by rioters, and a few dozen protesters (mostly led by local politicians or political candidates) remained demonstrating outside federal facilities throughout the day. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: Violating Estonia's airspace is a classic Russian pastime, so even though Estonia is (understandably) freaking out about it, this incident is the fourth time airspace violations have been reported this year alone. This is mostly due to where the airspace violations are taking place...over the Gulf of Finland. Due to the very tight geography of the region, Russia can very easily violate Estonia's airspace by flying across the east-west corridor over the Gulf. Most of the time, Russia uses this as a way of poking Estonia and thus conveying their regional power to NATO. In this case, Russia chose to "poke" this time using MiG-31s...a platform that was a powerhouse during the Cold War, but is a bit dated today and is in the process of being phased out. This is probably an attempt to bully Estonia (again, as Russia is known to do), but in such a manner that is "softer" than sending Su-35's or another more modern platform. CHICAGO MAYOR LAMENTS IMPENDING NATIONAL GUARD DEPLOYMENT.//  -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -HomeFront- Illinois: Statements by local mayor Brandon Johnson have continued to escalate as the National Guard deployment to Chicago draws near. Johnson stated that “Jails and incarceration and law enforcement is a sickness that has not led to safe communities”, and that he intends to "eradicate" this "sickness". Analyst Comment: It is often a hard sell to convince the public that putting violent criminals in prison is against the best interests of the taxpayer, but Johnson continues to make that argument nonetheless. Right now there is no real confirmation of how the National Guard QRF is to be deployed around the city, though city and state opposition has been high. California: Following yesterday's statements by the FCC Chairman, the ABC network has pulled the Jimmy Kimmel show from it's timeslot indefinitely. Analyst Comment: The network does not care about the crass statements that were made, as it encouraged this behavior for many years. However, getting their license yanked at a time where their ratings are already down would not have been a positive outcome for them. Washington D.C. - Yesterday evening President Trump stated his intent to designate ANTIFA as a terrorist organization on social media. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: Beyond President Trump's short post on social media, no details have been provided on this designation yet, or how it's going to work out paperwork-wise. ANTIFA certainly has foreign roots, but in most cases is not explicitly foreign-controlled, so a designation by the State Department as being an FTO might not be an adequate fit. Nevertheless, if the intent is to create a label that ensures more federal charges can be pursued against militants (instead of the catch-and-release that ANTIFA is used to), there are plenty of options. The White House is probably also looking at RICO options regarding the bail-fund practices for ANTIFA members, which have industrialized the process of rotating through the court system. More directly, ANTIFA activities are certain to increase due to this designation, whatever it works out to be. Low-level demonstrations are certain to take place in the usual areas, and more kinetic "Direct Action" attacks are also quite likely to spring up, though larger efforts may take some time to organize. Either way, ANTIFA can certainly mobilize faster than government forces can respond in most cases, though the biggest barriers to ANTIFA operations right now are funding and a lack of coherent picture at higher levels of organization. For many years, ANTIFA has had no natural predators in their environment, and has been allowed to conduct all manner of activities without any sort of barriers at all. EOD personnel were dispatched to examine the bag, which was determined to be a false-alarm. The exact location of the attack(s) has not yet been confirmed, however Ukrainian sources claim that the target was the 155th Marine Infantry Brigade. Analyst Comment: So far most of the sources on this attack are Ukrainian, so not entirely the most impartial resources for determining what happened. This could have been another behind-the-lines drone attack such as conducted a few months ago, since this attack vector is really one of the handful of methods for targeting this far away from the current conflict zone in Ukraine. -HomeFront- Utah: George Zinn, the man who created a distraction during the Kirk assassination, has been charged with obstruction of justice after admitting that he caused the distraction intentionally. Authorities continuing the investigation have stated that Zinn stated that he intended to draw attention away from the real shooter, to allow the assassin to escape. Washington D.C. - This morning FBI Director Kash Patel testified before Congress on a variety of issues. Analyst Comment: Most of the testimony today was only remarkable for the entertainment value, though Patel did continue to raise suspicions (as has become a nearly-daily occurrence) regarding Jeffrey Epstein, stating that Epstein did not traffic anyone to other individuals. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: Almost a week after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the number of inconsistencies and accomplices remains the same as before. If George Zinn did not have prior knowledge of the attack (as insinuated by investigators) the initial knee-jerk reaction to help out an unknown assassin in the seconds after a brutal murder is very odd at best, or psychopathic at worst. Zinn does have a long history of agitation and mental illness, so at this point it's hard to determine if he is just crazy or a legitimate and pre-planned accomplice to the murder. This afternoon, the alleged text messages between Tyler Robinson and his transgender accomplice were released, mostly pertaining to communications between the two apparently after the attack (though no timestamps on these messages were provided). These communications (among other things) indicate that the rifle was covertly stolen from the suspect's grandfather prior to the murder. Otherwise, the tone of the messages as released is somewhat unusual, and may be an indication of a pre-established alibi, knowing that these messages would be evidence at some point. Other terminology seems suspicious, leading to concerns that the messages might be fabricated or altered in some way, a speculative theory that is backed up by the inclusion of ellipses in the provided text which confirms that parts of the conversations have been omitted before release (though to what degree remains unclear). Right now there's no way to confirm the authenticity of these messages either way, and much more information and investigation is needed to determine exactly what took place. However even without digging in to the messages, the general gist of the case so far is that it's overwhelmingly unlikely that Tyler Robinson acted alone. More broadly, the expansion of investigations into other accomplices continues, as many statements from investigators have indicated the list of accomplices is wider than previously thought (by the FBI, at least). The FBI has stated that 7x people associated with the alleged killer have been identified throughout Utah, mostly online associates who had prior knowledge of the attack during the planning phase. These individuals are currently being investigated, and at least one individual was directly told by Robinson that he intended to kill Charlie Kirk. Tennessee: President Trump has formalized the order to activate National Guard soldiers throughout Memphis to combat crime, continuing the similar efforts that have been observed throughout Washington D.C. This line of effort has been named the Memphis Safe Task Force. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: There is a difference between someone making crass comments, and attack planning. Turns out, in the Kirk assassination, there is nearly-complete overlap between these two distinctions: The same types of people who celebrated Kirk's death, also ended up taking the next step to endorse legitimate terror attacks. It is this careful distinction that we must consider over the next few weeks as the situation remains hot. Around the United States, many leftist groups are organizing, using the Kirk assassination as a method of unity and shared values. For most armed far-left militia groups, this organization is still mostly in the Public Relations phase, using the assassination to move the goalposts toward normalizing violence against the political right (more than it already is). ANNAPOLIS SHOOTING DISCOVERED TO BE THE RESULT OF HOAX CALL, ONE MIDSHIPMAN WOUNDED IN FRIENDLY-FIRE.//  -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -HomeFront- Utah: This morning federal authorities confirmed that one individual was in custody who is assessed to have been Charlie Kirk's assassin. Tyler Robinson was physically detained at his home by his father, who turned him in after recognizing him as the shooter. This afternoon, during a press conference, Utah Governor Spencer Cox conveyed additional information that was compiled by the FBI on the shooting. He stated that text messages were recovered between the alleged shooter, and his roommate. During an interview with the FBI, the alleged killer's roommate volunteered to show investigators Discord messages between himself and the shooter. These messages involved the shooter stating that he needed to recover the rifle from a drop point located in a bush, wrapped in a towel. Additional messages were noted referencing engraving bullets. Analyst Comment: Information manipulation is already well out of control regarding this individual. For example, earlier today a Twitter/X account posted a photoshopped version of a photo of the suspected killer, which depicted Robinson wearing a Trump t-shirt, with the caption "Tired of these terrorists". The same exact account owned up to their fake information, but as this account has over 5 million followers, the damage had already been done. Robinson has zero ties to any sort of conservative politician or party, all of his associations are via politically left organizations. Nevertheless this is a common tactic used by many organizations; posting two messages/photos at nearly the same time, one of which is fake and the other either an apology or a correction. The fake content gets boosted in the algorithm and amplified everywhere, but the quiet correction never makes the rounds. This is a very tired tactic to evade both being banned on social media, along with criminal prosecution. In the age of AI, there are probably tens of millions of people who are seeing these fake images (not just from this one account, but many others as well), and due to everyone being in their own ideological bubble, there are significant efforts underway to make people think the shooter was a "far-right terrorist", instead of the overwhelming evidence that suggests otherwise. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: Yesterday's reported shooting at the US Naval Academy turned out to be another hoax like the other reported shootings, but the response to the hoax involved the friendly-fire shooting of one student. Authorities state that a former student at the Academy made threats of violence online, though he was able to spoof his IP address (or conduct some similar effort) to make it appear as though he was still at the Academy. A campus-wide alert was sent out regarding the threats, and initial reports circulated among students that the shooter was attempting to pose as a police officer to gain access to more victims. In reality, the individual that was spotted was a genuine police officer, one of the first to arrive on scene, working to clear the facility of threats. This resulted in a case of mistaken identity that resulted in the real shooting taking place. When the officer was attempting to gain entry to one building, a Midshipman attempted to beat the officer to death with a non-functioning parade rifle, thinking that he was the shooter. This Midshipman was shot in the arm by the officer, with the officer thinking that *he* was the shooter. After the Midshipman was shot, the situation of mistaken identity became clear, and the Midshipman was airlifted to a local area hospital, where he his expected to survive. This case is a reminder that everyone can do everything right, and casualties still be the end result. Nothing less than violence of action should be expected from any Midshipman during a situation like this; any cadet worthy of command in any branch of the US Armed Forces would have acted thusly to stop the attack and prevent harm from becoming others. Attempting to halt a potential active shooter with an inert rifle is a testament to this midshipman's dedication.
