Good morning frens.
Happy Father’s Day. If you’re not a Dad yet, what are you doing? 😊
Jk, not really.
Dads, we know who really takes the load of bearing children, of nurturing them, of finding patience with our little people, more so than we could ever find. I’ll speak for me:
The love of my life, Sheila, brings 100% every day, even what it’s hard, when things are falling apart and when I’m on the struggle bus. On this Father’s Day I’d like to shout out all the mom’s who give their everything and seemingly receive no credit or thanks. This is for you. Tears and words aren’t enough, but with the Holy Spirit engaged and inside you anything is possible.
Thank you for what you do for your kiddos, for the endless momming that you do. You are seen and you are noticed, and I thank you. My mom was married five (5) times and she was a single mom several times with my sister and I in tow (several times). She had vision and grit and perseverance and she did her best and I am so thankful to her. It is weak to have faith in the Lord but strength like nothing else. Flesh and strength of man will not prevail.
I would not have stayed married for over 23 years if it had not been for the triune God, in whose Holy Spirit lives inside my heart. To him goes the credit and he receives all glory. Every knee will bow, some willingly, some unwillingly. He is the Father of all fathers ultimately, so may He receive all glory this day and every day.
“for the grass withers and the flower 🌼 fades but the Word of our Lord will live forever.”
1 Peter 1: 24-25
