He doesn't fail to understand Bitcoin (he knows damn well) and that I own Bitcoin not because I have fear. I own bitcoin because I am voting with my feet. I choose sound money. There’s a season for every thing. A few days ago there was a wind of humility that blew through my house. Oldest child living at home humbled before my eyes. Very necessary and good to see. Last few days learned of some things being done that would typically evoke a strong protection response by yours truly. Today, I took pause of all that and reflected on this time we’re in; what’s at stake, and how few see what’s going extremely well (and not) and how hard it can be to STAY in humility. Age matters not: the end result is the same. It matters how you love your family, redeem the time and exercise the muscles of humility so they stay flexible and strong. (Author may or may not have had sand in his toes today)

Hey #nostr anyone else here still playing hockey in their 60s? It’s pretty darn cool if I may say so. Next month starts a new 50+ group so that should be a hoot. Occasionally I tell these other boys between shifts, “hey you’re having a fantastic day today! Look at you!” They always smile cause they know I’m right. To my nostr friends, tonight I share with you a couple treasures of Native American historical significance. First is the knowledge I’m finding very interesting in the recently published book, They Had Names. I always knew that my history classes left many hundreds of years out my American history classes but never understood why, or what was the history of the Native Americans long before the Europeans came. This has long been a mystery, until now. I am eating this book up. Also near to my heart is this beautiful tobacco bag that my mom made for me back years ago. The story is that when you hunted you were to give back something for when you harvested an animal. As the culture practiced, men would place tobacco or something in the area where the harvest took place. In any case it made for a great reason for me to wear this bag when I hunted. She took many hours to bran tan the buckskin leather, plan the design, and sew all the intricate beadwork on it. We have Choctaw on her side and some on the Dawes rolls Native American census (1908?). Anyway, it’s just beautiful thing I will always cherish from her. #art of all kinds is such a wonderful and powerful emotive thing. Thankful for nostr that I can leave this here and some of my friends will appreciate it as I do.

Ok all yall nostr peeps. I followed every last one of you that follow me. I know it could end badly, but nostr has been a mostly positive experience so far. Been really hoping for something great regarding school for my youngest daughter. She has special needs. It’s pretty rough right now as we don’t think the school that she’ll be attending will be able to help her as much as she needs. Could be worse though. Anyway, God is good all the time, even when things look hopeless. We’re just going to enjoy our green smoothie and call it good.
