Day 16: Today we will descend from 5000 ft elevation to 1000 ft. The town at the bottom of the descent is called White Water. Once we hit the town, we start climbing again. The trail is reported to be washed out from town - 10 miles. Most beautiful morning yet.

Day 11: My legs are getting stronger and I got a good night’s sleep. Overall, I am feeling good. The two pictures are from 7500 feet elevation overlooking Palm Springs. I am going into a town called Idylwild today. This is one of the nicest towns on the trail.
