ugh. #jobhunting for today was thin pickings. trawled the entire relevant linkedin, already applied for most of the ones that were viable, found one short contract on upwork. oh well, it is what it is. i have many non-closed applications in flight still and one of them relatively good but maybe the client is hoping for a better candidate. as always, anyone needing someone to improve back end performance or nostr specific knowhow and any kind of task you need doing, HMU #nostr #jobs #contract #work

something occurred to me just now, as today's theme seems to be boundaries. we have two wars going on over boundaries. one of them literally named as such "u kraina" is russian for "at the edge/border". hormuz is a crossing point. what happens if in both cases, epic amounts of explosive are set off such that both places become permanent no-mans-lands. kiev, at the boundary of the dnieper, is destroyed by radiation containing dirty bombs and becomes a new exclusion zone like chernobyl but on a much larger scale. hormuz coastline is bombed so hard and radiactive material then also leaks into the now much shallower waters and no insurer will allow any ships to cross it. it seems to me both cases have high potential of actually happening.

move over lithium ion, sodium ion batteries based on a cheaper substrate than graphite have arrived. they have a similar energy density capacity but operate at much lower temperatures, and the sodium ions are also much cheaper (i mean, the ocean is full of them).
