When you know something experientially, there’s no need to believe or have faith in the experience of others. Don’t worship someone else’s experience—have your own. Walk the path; don’t worship the map.

Legend.
“What does that sound remind you of, guys? What does that evoke for you… that’s, uh, primeval?
You know… happy childhoods at the beach… meat sizzling over the fire…
You know, parental love… your enemy’s genitals frying in hot oil… nothing?”
— Tony Bourdain
I can’t say as ever I was lost, but I was bewildered once for three days.

#IKITAOWhat's one of your top "guilty pleasure" TV shows?
I'll go first...
You can learn a lot if you're paying attention.
You can learn a lot if you're paying attention.Sometimes removing yourself from toxic people is the healthiest choice you can make. Waiting on anyone to “see the light” is a losing battle—you can’t force someone’s awakening.
The real practice is accepting what is, even when it’s not what we want. Anyone can find presence while sitting on their meditation cushion. The real test is carrying that presence down from the mountain and into the marketplace—into the messy reality of daily life.
Compassion doesn’t require proximity. You can love someone and still choose peace. Boundaries aren’t a rejection—they’re an acceptance of what is.

After 8 months of use, I highly recommend the Waterwise 4000 countertop distiller + these Scalar Enhanced Transformational Salts from Dr. Gabriel Cousens. Water doesn't get any better than this!

@Vitor Pamplona I suggested this a while ago, but I know how suggestions made on #Nostr can sometimes fall through the cracks.
The issue: It's too easy to accidentally swipe-delete a draft post in #Amethyst.
The frustration: Phones are sensitive and can register vertical scrolling as a swipe. You spend 30 minutes writing and formatting a post, go to preview it one last time before sending, start scrolling to review what you wrote, and the damn thing swipe deletes.
Losing creative work to something so preventable can be extraordinarily frustrating—especially when it happens multiple times with the same post.
The solution: Add a confirmation dialog - "Are you sure you want to delete this draft?"
I've lost multiple posts this way just trying to preview them one last time before sending. Sounds small, but it's a real pain point. I'm not heavy-handed with my phone, and even when I tried to be very careful it still happens sometimes and lots of time and effort gets wasted.
Would you be willing to implement this?
Looking forward to your reply!
Tail light went out in the Cross. My trim level came with some halogens. Just ordered some red LED replacements. Irrationally passionate about this upgrade. Going to replace the rest if these are as good as they're supposed to be. They come in red, white, amber, and blue... I have ideas.
