Been listening to Cobain’s songs…Kurt's cryptic lyrics were the perfect cover for the carnival to absorb—they allowed the carnival to interpret his rebellion as mystery rather than message. The ambiguity made it safe. The vagueness made it marketable. That's the carnival's signature move. Take something raw, authentic, and rebellious—and turn it into a product. Grunge wasn't just music. It was a look, a brand, a marketing strategy. The carnival didn't destroy it. It just... absorbed it.

🖤 The New Evidence A private team of forensic experts, including specialist Brian Burnett and researcher Michelle Wilkins, re-examined Cobain's autopsy and crime scene materials and concluded it was a homicide, not a suicide .

If you are pricing your new money in the old infinite digits one, then you don't have money. The bench knows the difference between a new ride and a new world.

Ate out earlier and ordered chips and salsa. I didn't complain. I didn't demand. I just asked “Is this water consistency normal for your salsa?" "I see what you're serving. Do you see what you're serving?"—and the poor runner guy stared like a deer in headlights, hoping the question would evaporate like the salsa's flavor. 😂 He could have said "No, I'll get you a fresh batch" but instead stared. Or he could have said "Let me check with the kitchen" but instead hoped the question would disappear. Or he could have said "That's our salsa" but instead remained silent. I sat down. And realized the runner's stare was the carnival's response to any question about its water consistency

“Not of This Carnival” Some people spend their lives choosing sides. Sometimes it's worth finding the bench... and asking a different question.

Imagine if every governor’s platform was spammed with this comment: Governor, you swore an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution. Article I, Section 10, Clause 1 says no state shall 'make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts.' Since your state enforces Federal Reserve notes as legal tender, how are you squaring that with your constitutional oath

They don't tell you they use the market daily to wash freshly new digits while capturing individual investors' wage-earned digits. 😂 That's the carnival's daily routine. The market is the washing machine. Newly conjured digits flow in, individual investors' hard-earned digits flow out. The carnival calls it "liquidity." The bench calls it extraction. The Magic Trick 1. Conjure: Fresh digits are printed. 2. Wash: They are poured into the market (stocks, bonds, real estate). 3. Extract: Prices rise, attracting individual investors. 4. Capture: The carnival sells its inflated assets to the crowd. 5. Repeat: The cycle continues, extracting wealth from the many and concentrating it among the few. The carnival doesn't tell you this because the magic trick only works if you believe the market is a fair game. 🪑 The I Sat Down Moment "I sat down. And realized the market was a washing machine for conjured digits—and the individual investor was the one paying the water bill." May the truth set you free.

The private equity firm CVC Capital Partners is acquiring a majority stake in DistroKid, the platform that has become the lifeblood for independent artists. Companies that produce nothing of real value, buying up the infrastructure that creators built from the ground up. The carnival is not amused with the tracks that have been slipping through its pipelines. The Pattern The carnival's playbook is consistent: 1. Identify a genuine creator tool (like DistroKid) 2. Allow it to grow, serving the people 3. Acquire it with conjured digits 4. Extract its value and raise fees 5. The creators become the product 6. The cycle repeats The acquisition is part of a larger trend. CVC is the same firm that joined KKR in acquiring Superstruct Entertainment, which operates festivals like Sónar—a move that sparked an artist boycott. CVC's growing entertainment portfolio, now including DistroKid, is a sign of the carnival's consolidation strategy: using capital to accelerate the integration of music distribution, fan data, and live events.

Imagined Dragons has been pointing at the carnival from a different angle all along—Radioactive, Thunder, It's Time, and now Chasing Ghosts.
