Saw some (hand) gun shot wounds recently. Projectile was a very deep hollow point that didn’t expand at all. Minimal deformation even. Reminded me of a liberty civil defense light for caliber 50 g projectile. But it didn’t shatter or expand. Maybe a .380 load from a super short barrel?

I still can’t figure out why people get so fired up over relay policy…what am I missing? Last I checked, one can choose to only receive blocks, not transactions, and not relay anything at all… Is it good that consensus rules permit data storage? Maybe, maybe not, but definitely not for JPG’s and dick picks. When non-standard transactions get mined, bad stuff happens for miners and non-miners. There are probably fewer nonstandard transactions getting mined because of relay policy, but how much resource consumption will occur because of permitting spam txs to be relayed? If it’s a lot, then perhaps a soft fork is necessary.

I’m opposed to the US raising funds to buy bitcoin, whether through taxes or any other means. Why? This will put more money in circulation. Bitcoin price will rise, which would have been ok if it were not for the corresponding inflation that went with it. People will think bitcoin caused inflation and that will get ugly.

Money is just a way of motivating future human action. Saving / investing / working are ways to generate and hopefully store value so as to change one’s point on the money number line. We all exist on a money denominated number line. Bitcoin is like a secret way to bend the the line and jump a great deal ahead on the money number line. But it’s also like cutting in line, so tell your friends so you don’t end up rich and friendless :)

The best way to fight on chain spam is to make transactions worth a higher fee.
