My new lightning wallet setup is ๐Ÿ”ฅ @npub148qm...jra7 Phoenixd running on my server. Channel splicing, infinite incoming liquidity. ๐Ÿ‘ LNbits running on top of that. LN addresses, zaps, prisms, swaps to on-chain with @Boltz - Non-Custodial Bitcoin Exchange @ZEUS connecting to that so I can spend/receive on my phone. It does all the cool shit Phoenix, Zeus, and Aqua can do, all in one stack. No Liquid involved. BITCOIN ONLY

I'm still not a fan of Liquid. It's not Bitcoin, it's not a L2, it has trusted 3rd parties. It's still a shitcoin IMO. But these new phone wallets that leverage it lightning payments seem to work well and appear to be a decent substitute for US users that can't use WoS or Phoenix anymore. If you can run your own lightning node, you should.

@calle is there a way to tell when some ecash was issued, when it is redeemed? Usecase: A store runs an ecash node for store credit/gift certs. They want to incentivize customers to delay spending it on products. If the mint knows when the ecash was minted, it can apply a higher value to that ecash based on the time between minting and redeeming.

So is Saylor just doing the thing Microsoft was working on before? But worse, with inscriptions?

Found a bit of mead I made maybe 5 or 6 years ago. This mead is a bochet style. Making a bochet involves heating the honey to caramelize and darken it before adding water & yeast. Overall it's held-up ok. The cap came off easy so there was probably a poor seal, causing a little oxidation, adding a little "cardboard" flavor. It definitely lost any residual sweetness and the body has thinned a bit. But I can still pick out a bit of honey and burnt sugar notes. It's still drinkable. And it's clear AF
