Self custody is still superior to keeping your keys on an exchange. We just learned that a lot of devices aren't 100% bulletproof. Multi-sig might be best for now. Whatever you do, keep your corn away from exchanges

I grew up during the AIDS era and I remember vividly the campaigns around it, the billions poured into it and the relatives that succumbed to it. Little did I know then that one man was responsible for the propaganda around it, the mistreatment of it using drugs like AZT, and the deaths from it as a result. That man was Dr Anthony Fauci. A lot of people think Nostr is dead because they are so used to centralized social media which is majority noise and less signal. Interpreting less activity as death could be a misunderstanding of the solitude necessary to actually live a productive and fulfilling life away from a screen, or it could really be death! Lol! What do i know? Isn't the point of great social media, something you should be able to turn off when necessary?

Tradfi regulations like GENIUS Act and CLARITY Act, that are the direct descendants of the Bank Secrecy Act and The Patriot Act; are trojan horses designed to not only bring Bitcoin under the existing financial surveillance apparatus but to neuter its use as money. They want you to be the bag holder that owns the IOU to BTC but not hold any Bitcoin yourself. Do you understand this comrade?

The mentality that BTC's use as money is now extinct, is exactly why public mining companies are Bitcoin's adversaries. We are now in the age of the solo miner, the Bitaxe's and @Rigly 's better days are ahead of them.

The CLARITY Act has a provision known as the "mature blockchain system" which states that a blockchain achieves "maturity" only when the SEC certifies that it is "not controlled by any person or group of persons under common control." Consider just how crazy it is that a decentralized system must receive centralized state approval of its decentralization. This is state-licensed decentralization, which is an oxymoron. Do you think they would license stuff that would disrupt them?
