Allright, the NoGood art book is officially HAPPENING! I'm excited and scared shitless at the same time 😅
It's been a years long dream of mine to make this book. It will showcase roughly five years worth of projects and illustrations as well as many sketches and a look behind the scenes from my studio in Amsterdam.
The entire process is an adventure since I've never created a book before and self-publishing gets expensive quickly. That's why I set up a Geyser campaign – to help cover part of the production costs.
Your support and pre-orders will make this book happen (and give me an idea of how many books to produce). All pre-orders include items that are only available for Geyser supporters, such as exclusive art prints, NOSTR badges, stickers or a mention on NoGood Radio.
I'll also create a special page in the book that lists the (nick)names of all supporters.
We're at the very beginning of this project so any ideas for the book or feedback on the rewards are very welcome. I'll give it my all to make this something special.

Currently getting initial quotes from printers to see if a Geyser crowdfund campaign makes sense. Self-publishing gets expensive quickly so I need to be realistic. I truly hope the book gets made! Keep you posted ✌️

I'm self-publishing the NoGood art book which means I'll be the art director, editor and designer and need to take care of printing and distribution. So I'm setting up a Geyser project to crowdfund some of the costs.
Would you be interested in funding the book? And are there any cool rewards you'd like to see? Currently thinking about the following:

Can't stop making mockups for the NG art book, adding a section for sketches and work in progress. Will use different colored paper stock and large bright pantone backgrounds ifffff budget allows for it 😂

Saw this book in a museum in Amsterdam a couple weeks ago and it has stayed with me ever since. One of the best designed books I've seen. It's like a zine without a production budget. It's heavy and thick but compact. I loved the extra small type and narrow margins and thin paper stock. Will borrow a lot of design elements for the NoGood art book.

Couple of quick art book mockups. Thinking about keeping it minimal with a lot of whitespace, minimal copy and maybe some special sections with different paper stock for sketches or logos.

The new NoGood Radio background is live on
It automatically switches to the new scene once every hour and stays on display for about 10 minutes before switching back. I hope it makes for a nice break from the standard background though I'm not completely happy with it yet. I'll have to work on it some more. For a first version it's fine tho 😅
Planning to add more scenes and different backgrounds in the future!
