A concrescence of Mind fumbling with the controls of this meat chariot. Nostr only !
What's the biggest challenge you could tackle in your lifetime? Do it. Its the only way to live without regret.
"In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." 2 Corinthians 4:4 🤔 the god "of this world"??? Why not just say God? 🤔 why would that "god of this world" want to prevent people from seeing Christ? Notice the Greek - he uses "θεὸς", not "ἄρχων". A false god... But not a prince/archon or Satan.
So I decided to apply to the genetics program at my local university. I feel like "biology" is too zoomed out. Fingers crossed.
Some steps in the progression from slave to free : - we have to stay vigilent and keep the other party out - we should care more about local elections than federal - we have no choice - participate in politics or get crushed by politics - maybe we should be libertarian. Let's vote for more liberty! - this voting thing doesn't work. We should vote harder! - every good intention gets perverted into an evil. The more good we do, the worse it gets. (Starting to get it) - I'm thinking libertarianism isn't quite enough. Maybe we should be anarchists. - no, anarchism isn't violence or chaos! I promise, its only fluffy butterflies. We can have a rules based society without rulers. - why doesn't anything work? - everything does work. It works to put the brakes on anything I want to do. That must be the intended purpose of... everything... - maybe being nice all the time isn't morally correct. Maybe, even if a behavior is expedient or nice, it serves a greater evil by lowing small evils to compound - maybe there's actually too much civilization - no more bashful anarchism. The purpose of anarchism isn't civilization. Its freedom. And if the two are incompatible, I choose freedom. - it is a moral good to burn it all down. Fuck order. Chaos is the only thing that can possibly, though not always, serve the Good.
😂 an AI just called me a "top tier evolutionary geneticist" - I mean, I know its garbage, these AIs are the brownest of all brown nosers, but still... Giggles
🤔 I find that the key to studying isn't really memorization or repetitive problem solving - its just keeping your head in the zone for longer periods. This bio exam I'm studying for would be impossible if I tried memorizing everything. Not a chance, crash and burn... But I'm remembering stuff because, as I go through each concept, I build a plot out if it and place it somewhere in a novel I'm planning. The idea is to use a fictional sci-fi thriller to teach biology concepts. It just so happens that theres plenty of room for cool stuff like aliens and bitcoin and a future solar civilization. No guarantees - so far, 100% of all attempted novels have ended in deletion. But maybe this is the one...
Are we doing AI wrong? Isn't it really the ultimate weapon, **_that we must control?_** By "we," I mean people who like freedom. And isn't control really just a matter of copying files? And isn't knowledge power? Then it follows that slim AI models trained on **_useful_** info - electronics, physics, genetics - and specifically trained to teach people these subjects in a planned progression that cuts out all the crap - that's what we need. Handheld, trim, and gets straight to the point. And none of the "absolutely, you're so brilliant, etc" junk. I think we're approaching a future where internet access requires a license, and unlicenced AI will be contraband. The state only sees threats. Sieze the means of learning!
You ever read something an AI spits out and go, "holy shit!"? Cuz I just did... image If we're already doing that, then full digital-biological sovereignty is within our grasp.
🤔 soon, only airgalped, non-networked AIs will be trusted. But first, the internet will fragment back into intranets. And then, AI will become biological. Sentience is not required.
Met a guy who sells knives - for $1600 per set. He gets a 50% commission. Sweet gig. But I'm wondering... Who in fuck buys this shit? Why don't they just buy a $10 sharpener?
🤔 why aren't homeless people violent? I woke up with that question. By violent, I mean intentionally violent, not the crazy spasms of drug addicts. Doesn't it seem like they ought to be? Considering how many there are, if they organized with real demands, they could make changes. I'm not advocating anything either way - just saying. They have sufficient numbers. Look at history. How many people did it really take to... well anything - how many did it actually take? People usually dismiss homeless people as drug addicts - of course they're homeless, since they're on drugs! But I suspect this is backwards. They're on drugs because they're homeless, and that escape is available. Why is it available? Its relatively unavailable to "normal" people. So I have a theory. I think the government is intentionally supplying them with drugs. Better to have them all crazy and dying than marching on something. People parrot narratives about "the fentanyl crisis" and believe China is somehow doing it to us - but if that's so, then why don't they stop the drugs at the ports, which they already very thoroughly inspect? If they wanted to stop it, it would be trivial to stop it. The only conclusions available are A) the drugs aren't coming from China, or B) the government is specifically and intentionally allowing them in. Either there's a lie, or there's a lie and a mass murder. Its obviously intentional. By funnelling the disenfranchised into the literal death trap of homelessness, they mitigate the otherwise perpetually growing problem of people with reasons to **_do something._** Its controlling the situation.
