„Community does not scale…” - @Simon Dixon This statement rang loudest in my mind, as I listened to @Efrat Fenigson talking with Simon on the new episode of @You’re The Voice I wonder, though, if maybe it may be possible to scale a community, if the foundations, on which it’s created stand strong, irreplaceable and subscribed to by all involved voluntarily…? Couldn’t there be a future, where a community founded on principles of sound money, personal freedom and private property becomes not only possible but scalable…? I wonder. To be fair, I hope it could. Hope being a key word here… Needless to say, the episode was incredible and pushed me to contemplate on the matter over the past 24 hours… I’m still thinking, I hope (haha) A definite recommendation:

Watched „My Dinner with André” yesterday… If you haven’t, you should! I have no doubt all the freedom-lovers, thought-provoking appreciators, uncertainty-friendly seekers will love this magnificent piece of 1980s cinema. Few key takeaways of mine: - silence with one another is normal and often much needed (especially in these noise-filled times) - deep within yourself, you always know what is best for you (the challenge is to be quiet enough to hear it!) - TV, social media, radio, newspapers etc. all are participating in your subconscious programming (are you aware of their impact on your life?) Over the recent years I’ve grown tired of waste-filled cinema, full of propaganda and lack of substance. Watching this movie was simply wonderful. It’s a reminder that great cinema exists, although (unless we change course) you may need to look in the past for it. Watch it! Would you sleep on the floor…? Well, I would. Inspired by the video @₿en Wehrman reposted (which I cannot find right now), I tried sleeping on the floor (only yoga mat and a blanket below me) for 7 days, and here is what I noticed: 1. Sleeping on the floor was much more pleasant than I expected. Quite frankly, I’m sold. Now, I have to convince my wife… To make peace with my her, I’ll probably come to a consensus on a rather hard mattress placed just on the floor. 2. My body didn’t hurt as much as I expected and only on the second night did I find myself struggling to lay comfortably. Other than that, easy peasy. 3. My lower back pain greatly softened. It’s not fixed yet, of course, but I can definitely see the difference when I sleep on the bed and it is most likely due to the many “not so healthy” positions that I am able to enjoy on the bed, which the floor wouldn’t accept. 4. It’s much colder on the floor, so unless you have heated flooring it may be a good idea to add a blanket or two on top of ya! It’s naturally cold in Scotland, especially this time of the year, so I found myself waking up a few times, when my wandering leg or hand exposed me too much. 5. And the BIGGEST THING - it is true, I didn’t need as many hours of sleep to feel refreshed and relaxed as I would while sleeping on the bed. When I would usually go to sleep around 22:00, my alarm gets me up just before 7:00 (9 ish hours I aim for), but when sleeping on the floor, I would consistently wake up just after 6:00 (one time even 5:30!) and feel like it’s been more than enough and it’s about time I get up. Suffice to say, I had much longer days to work with (haha) and my book reading streak improved. So, yeah. Thank you so much @₿en Wehrman for sharing yet another fun fact to work with.
