It is earned through human interactions built over time, using your critical thinking and perception. The moment we rely on our ability to discern when, what, and whom to trust to a machine or code, we are giving away our critical thinking and emotional connection. We are wired and built differently. By outsourcing your ability to know someone on a deeper level or connect in a meaningful way, we are likely to become alienated. What we hate about the discourse is what makes "being human" interesting, challenging, and fun. There may be a use case for automation in how to trust a device or machine, but never at a human level.
