It’s important to take care of your home for the neighborhood’s sake. You don’t need to do anything extravagant just the basics. It’s a signal that order lives here and dysfunction isn’t accepted.
Trim your hedges, cut the grass, water your flowers, and take care of the mulch.
Do your part to keep the neighborhood from slipping
Too often we see crime go under punished because judges deem the criminal’s circumstances as worthy of mercy.
Yeah he stole but it’s because he’s poor
Yeah he did something extremely violent in response to a minor disagreement but his mother was an addict
Yeah he sexually assaulted that girl but it’s acceptable in the country he was raised in
The question isn’t whether we can understand why this person committed a crime it’s whether this person is able to follow the rules society has set or not. Crime isn’t any more acceptable from one person than it is from another
Good to see @Marty Bent at least start to talk about the national debt issue being a foregone conclusion not worth trying to solve when the country has other pressing and possibly solvable issues like an immigration crisis.
Most Bitcoiners will scoff at someone saying forget about the debt but it’s the right take.
It’s not “forget about the debt because it doesn’t matter”
It’s “forget about the debt because it isn’t fixable and we might as well try to throw money at other issues before this thing breaks for good”
The entire goal in politics now is to seize the printer and use it to further your operatives. That’s it. The dollar will be printed to oblivion whether you spend your term trying to save it or not so you might as well just use the printer while you have it
Bitcoiners love to parrot “Nothing stops this train” but turn around and praise guys like Rand Paul and Elon Musk who *try* to stop the train they just claimed was unstoppable lol
They’re playing a sport where everyone has realized the referees aren’t enforcing the rules but Libertarians still play by them so they’ll never win.
Its a gigantic waste of time
Paul, Musk, and Massie all harming deportation efforts while they pretend the debt is save-able
They are all a net negative politically. Get these types out off office
It’s not that Americans don’t want manual labor jobs that everyone seems to think only Hispanics are willing to do. Why would they work those hard hours when they can make the same money
(or close to it) by scamming their way into monthly checks through a bunch of different government assistance programs without lifting a finger?
When the money printer dies all the sudden many Americans will want labor jobs
