I’ve been wracking my brain about this for about a month now and can’t come to a solid answer (maybe there isn’t one?) but we’re heading towards either communism or an authoritarian regime in the US how do we divert from that?
Unfortunately the general public just doesn’t care or doesn’t have the mental capability to realize the money printer is fueling everything they hate (whether they’re on the right or left) and that ending the printer is the only way out. You still can’t mention bitcoin in public without being cast off as a lunatic. The demand for a complete upheaval is laps ahead of Bitcoin adoption among the population.
This is black pilling but I don’t see a world where the money printer is eliminated peacefully through the democratic process. The rich (who dictate the narratives) depend on it to get richer and the poor (1/3 of the country is on government assistance) depend on it to survive. This doesn’t even account for the people on social security and other government printer ponzis. We’re not voting our way into sound money.
Sure, NGU is nice, but being rich while the country decays around you isn’t close to ideal and isn’t a world I want to pass on to my children. I want to white pill and have optimism that our children won’t grow up in chaos but I don’t see how that’s avoidable. At this point we need solutions and retreating into the woods with our keys just praying this blows over quickly isn’t a real option. We need something actionable right now.
Someone give me a white pill

Younger voters do not care about foreign wars the way the older generations do.
The “peace time president” schtick Trump pushes isn’t winning votes. Younger voters don’t want more wars but when they can’t afford a house they couldn’t care less about what’s going on over seas.
The Trump admin has completely lost touch with what his base cares about
If it’s likely that we have an authoritarian government on the way whether it’s communism or fascism we should probably start focusing on
1. How can we make the effects less harsh or ourselves?
2. How can we shorten the length of time we’re under an authoritarian regime?
They’ll argue we need unlimited abortion rights because it’s “healthcare” or for rape victims but this is like 99% of abortions right here

Typical Democrat, celebrating after an abortion outside Planned Parenthood.
There’s a 3 horse race between communism, fascism, and bitcoin. Communism and fascism just finished their first lap.
Bitcoin hasn’t left the starting line.
Buying votes is always an effective strategy so Trump sending out $2k checks makes a ton of sense politically, but of course will just send inflation up a notch and is horrible economic policy.
This is why democracy is just a slow death
Maybe the reason the poor are having more kids than the middle class is because the middle class pays for the children of the poor

There is a timeline
Capitalism —> creation of money printer —> crony capitalism —> socialism/communism —> authoritarian/dictator
Some talk recently about how Gen Z doesn’t seem interested in Bitcoin and how we can get the message out to them.
I find it difficult to believe we do this through Bitcoin podcasts. Bitcoin has plenty of great personalities @Danny Knowles, @Marty Bent, @jack mallers, etc. and they’re not getting Gen Z listeners. We’ll likely need a widely popular (for reasons not related to Bitcoin) figure who just happens to be a bitcoiner and speaks about it here and there. We need a Charlie Kirk type who has the ear of Gen Z who can slowly bring them into Bitcoin.
It’s the same issue Nostr currently has. If you’re not a bitcoiner Nostr probably sucks. There’s nothing else really discussed here at length and if you’re not curious about bitcoin/money it’s all just boring gibberish.
Just another reason I implore Bitcoiners to speak about other topics that interest them and sprinkle in Bitcoin here and there where it fits.
Gen Z will get into bitcoin when it’s something their favorite personality endorses not because they decide to put down DraftKings and porn and read Rothbard.
Over 10% of the country is on food stamps (and likely a myriad of other free money programs). Turn off the spigot.

Your average rational person will be deterred from doing crime if they know they’ll get a long prison sentence when caught.
Anyone not deterred by a long prison sentence is unfit to live in society with rational people.
Bring back long sentences
Hmmmm I wonder

Self hating white liberals have convinced themselves you must import the 3rd world or live around minorities to experience “culture”
I once met a Middle Ages Egyptian immigrant who was driving for Uber. We started talking about the government over there and he made the comment that Egypt needed a dictator because there were too many bad people there and our system would never work for their people. At the time I thought it was an indoctrinated belief to think you’d be better off with less freedom.
Now I’m starting to believe he’s right and there are populations of people who just cannot function civilly in the American system
Main streets are the heart and soul of small towns and suburbs across America. These places aren’t cities comprised of different neighborhoods each with their own personalities. They only have one shot at developing their own culture and it usually spans less than a quarter mile.
Main streets need to be reclaimed from the woke that seems to value their significance more than everyone else.
The local dive bar shouldn’t have a pride flag hanging over the front door and the coffee shop doesn’t need some hideous woke mural painted on the exterior wall.
Make it a point to get out and frequent your Main Street. Your town’s culture depends on it.

Take back small town main streets from the liberals
Liberal politicians know they have an army of strong believers on all kinds of medication and suffering from all types of mental illnesses.
When they call the opposition “literally Hitler”, “nazi”, or make claims like if the other party gains power a certain group will be stripped of all civil liberties and put in camps, they know what they’re doing.
They purposely use hyperbolic language because they know one of their deranged followers will eventually act on what they’ve been told is an existential threat and they can’t be held liable.
Being soft on criminals is being hard on law abiding citizens.
The notion that the mentally ill cannot be held responsible for crime because they’re not able to control their actions is just another example of suicidal empathy.
If your argument against punishing a schizophrenic for a violent crime is that the schizophrenic isn’t in control of their actions then how can you have any confidence they won’t be violent again?
The reality is mental illness should be even more of a reason to separate that person from the rest of society
