Everyone should check out the new Circles app built on Matrix protocol. https://circles.futo.org It is definitely inspiration for something that could be done on Nostr. I’d like to see more emphasis on private convos and more intimate connections. Products built for family for example. Maybe that just isn’t what Nostr is for. In which case, maybe Matrix is better.

There’s a looong way to go until the bull run. This 50k era won’t hold and that’s just fine

I *want* to pay $5 per year for Nostr usage. I paid $5 to use Farcaster and am never opening that up again. Hell, I’ll pay $12 per year for Nostr.

Only need native nostr apps to start using the same URI pattern like “nostr://“ or “nostrapp://“ Let the user’s operating system handle which app opens the content. Personally, I don’t use any browser apps for nostr (I can’t stand browser extensions). Having this for native apps would be so convenient. View quoted note →

Theologically, I’ve become a blend of Messianic Judaism, Biblical Unitarianism, Michael Heiser style henotheism. I don’t think these beliefs are required for salvation, but it’s where I’ve arrived after honest inquiry

Thousands of NIPs could be rendered unnecessary if we just had an NIP for WebXDC apps instead.

iTunes and Podcasting are coming back in style (according to the well known 20 year fashion cycles). Nostr can be at the forefront of this trend!

Does anyone remember that Wikipedia style project built on nostr? Anyone remember the name or developer of it?
