Thinking about user reviews of things. The world has basically settled on a few databases / API’s for everything. Books, openlibrary. Movies, TMDB. Etc. There’s common IDs for most of these objects. Even businesses are incorporated with ID’s, right? We only need clients to easily let users’ browse and find the objects they want to speak about. Then you have your social graph recommendation / curation engine.

Letterboxd is selling to Netflix? Surprisingly AtProto doesn’t have a letterboxd alternative yet. They do have a reviews site, but it’s like all reviews (music, tv, movies, books). For some reason, that doesn’t feel as nice as a purpose-built movie app

I would like to see a Nostr app focused almost exclusively on contact management. A Rolodex for “permissionless phone numbers”. Maybe bring in a few additional functions that make sense ( like event signing @Clave or secret sharing a lá Horcrux @Matt Lorentz ) So you have an app whose surface area is just managing your own account and the relationships that you have to other accounts. A little black book.
