I don’t check mine anymore, I let my ai agent read it all and just brief me on the important stuff. I guess it’s just become a middleman for ai agent communication at this point.

I've had to give up on several email addresses as even after a decade of them not being publicly known nor in use, they are still acculating spam.

simple email filter is auto tagging all emails you have in contacts and or has ever sent a reply to; then monitor emails in that lable category also simplelogin adresses for random sign ups is a good way, aliases! would however love email with added pow & zap filters for strangers; would be cool
