Shout out to @vik sharma for making the first Silent Payments wallet for Bitcoin. Layer 1 is usable again. It feels like I stepped back into 2015! I highly recommend Cake Wallet if you’re wanting to just send someone Bitcoin and don’t want to bother explaining Layer 2 protocols just for a one time payment

I had two people try to onboard to nostr recently and they both seemingly had a bad experience. One could not get greeted by anyone or find content to engage with. The other had technical issues where their account seemingly wasn’t instantiated right. (Maybe both had this issue). But idk nobody cares. It’s survivors bias I suppose. We all got set up early on and forgot what it was like because in the early days everyone just followed everyone
