I remember an Urbit designer saying many years ago that ethereum was the only blockchain that cared about UX. I have to agree. My issue with Ethereum is that I always feel the draw to just go all in on it. People are like “ethereum is law and bitcoin is money!” Okay, but money is downstream from law. And in this case the law comes with its own money… the money of all money…

I had a pretty long conversation with Claude the other day about Nostr vs Pubky and how they each complement each other in opposite ways. Then I asked if there was a system that combined the best of both and it pointed me to Willow. I had known about Willow for a bit. Vaguely that it came about from the SSB lineage. Honestly, Willow might be in the exact center of the SSB-Nostr-Pubky triangle. And then I see that @Nuh contributed to the project years ago 😂 small world indeed

The reality is that normies still think you have to buy a whole bitcoin. They don’t even know that you can buy fractions of one. Not joking. #RemoveTheDecimal

> In reality, Bitcoin’s ledger represents values as integral base units. The decimal point is merely a human-imposed abstraction. > By redefining the base unit as "one bitcoin," this BIP aligns user perception with the protocol’s true nature. It reduces cognitive overhead, ensures users understand Bitcoin as counting discrete units, and ultimately improves educational clarity and user experience. View quoted note →

Allow me to explain Life from first principles. Our job on earth is to turn sunlight into love. We are transducers, demiurges. Children are most efficient at this. So if we want to do this most effectively, we should create more children and create an environment in which they can thrive as such. That’s why Saint Paul says that women are “saved through childbearing”. It’s not because women must suffer through birth and that suffering saves them. It’s because the most powerful act of love they could do would be to create more babies (love bombs). And it’s also why Jesus said that if a person corrupts a child, they should be tied to a millstone and thrown in the ocean. We are in a war and that person has effectively defused one of our love bombs. That’s traitorous and traitors are worse than enemies. Forgive the cheesy analogy, but this is all it is. Diversity is bad because it hinders love. Just as Aristotle explained 2,000 years ago. View quoted note →

Remembering a couple years ago when I was teaching myself to draw from sight. I should get back to that. Image generation at the speed of thought.

I understand the Vine revival. It’s a good brand. But they should have followed the trend where the trend actually went (no time limit on videos)
