@npub1n0st...k6h0 @Fabian on Nostur iOS my posts aren’t posting to nostr.land. I usually have to go to “post details > republish” in order to get it to post on nostr.land.
Note that nostr.land is the only relay that requires authentication and I have that authentication toggle selected in the relay management.
Ngl I really want a non-gay AtProto indexer now. They literally starting shitting and throwing up when the sitting Vice President of the United States joined BlueSky and said hi.
The protocol is kind of awesome but the libtards make it so unappealing to anyone with even a small degree of openness.
Nostr NIPs are sort of putting the cart before the horse. They try to enforce a standard before anything has even been tried.
Compare to AtProto which just lets apps each make their own lexicon and then later on down the line competing apps can come together and settle on something like an NIP if they wish.

Now in your timeline: Standard.site brings richer previews from across the open web - AT Protocol
Articles published with this community-built format now receive richer treatment in the Bluesky app
The blog posts here are fantastic for learning the logic behind AtProto

I’ll be in my 80’s for the 300th anniversary of America. I like these 50 year timelines. My goal is to have everything fixed by then.
Why isn’t Pubky focusing on this private / friends-only posting use case @John Carvalho ? It’s the only thing that sets Pubky apart. Basically only Pubky and Urbit can do that efficiently and Tlon has for unknown reasons decided to never. So it’s an open field right now.

This is what I’ve been saying…

It’s very stupidly easy to time the bottom and top of the bitcoin cycles. I hesitate to even mention this publicly because we still need bag holders that think “tHiS tiMe iS diFfeReNT”
If anyone re-posts this, I’ll try to delete it.
What if I told you that every single piece of marketing ever produced for Nostr has been viscerally off-putting?
The color purple, the 🤙, the Pura Vida, the Ostrich, the nut sacks. These terrible things keep sprouting up because it’s part of the core ethos of this place. It’s seemingly baked into the protocol to be ugly.

Pubky’s phone number verification is competing with WoT, not keypairs.
Why would anyone waste good content on a network filled with such sycophantic retards

I remember an Urbit designer saying many years ago that ethereum was the only blockchain that cared about UX. I have to agree.
My issue with Ethereum is that I always feel the draw to just go all in on it.
People are like “ethereum is law and bitcoin is money!” Okay, but money is downstream from law. And in this case the law comes with its own money… the money of all money…
