If Monero existed on Rootstock, I would totally use that btw. Monero people just want to use something that works. They’re not “number go up” people.
The main issue though is that using bitcoin layer 1 creates taxable events all over the place. Idk how rootstock avoids that.

They clearly understand the assignment, regardless if they’re approaching it correctly or not.
Public key protocols are cool, but different protocols use different key formats.
We need a name system that lets everyone have a Linktree type thing, basically. Isn’t that just DNS?

People that are constantly banned from X still prefer things like Substack over Nostr.

Paying for an internet service with Monero is a great experience.

Consortium - SimpleX Network Consortium
An agreement governing the licensing and evolution of the SimpleX Network protocols.
Nostr is good when it’s honest about what it is. It’s putting up flyers around town. It’s writing on a bathroom wall. It’s leaving a note under a park bench.
But there are zero clients that make that experience honest. Jumble might be closest, but still not really.
Guys, Nostr is literally a network of bathroom wall graffiti. It’s flyers stapled to telephone poles.
Sometimes that is the only place you can get a message out, sure. Make it an option, not the primary.
Extremely accurate explanation of Nostr! It perfectly explains the ugliness that pervades this disgusting protocol.

I email people my real name constantly. It’s a great way to open up collaborations, meet like-minded people, etc. It’s great.
Nostr just hates you, by design. People need to learn that the hard way apparently.
