It's great to see Semler Scientific® announcement today that after careful consideration, they've taken a strong #bitcoin position for their treasury, buying 581 #btc (~$40M). "Our bitcoin treasury strategy and purchase of bitcoin underscore our belief that bitcoin is a reliable store of value and a compelling investment," said Eric Semler, Semler Scientific's chairman.

The market seems to like it too, with their stock up 30% already today. I think more healthcare companies would be wise to implement a bitcoin strategy, including saving excess cash in bitcoin for the long term.
