The sound carried by the wind travels far more than usual, and I am treated to some agonizing groaning of building machinery down the hill. While I was typing at an open window, it felt like a peasant working his little farm field in the valley hearing cries of giants being in full battle with some hero far, far away. #fuckit Logged off computer, made a tea and lit up an incense stick. I, for one, don't believe current AI has reached AGI levels yet... For instance, prompt it to write a quickburn passion story from medieval times where the main character—former next in line for the crown turned covert refugee by his scheming blood-unrelated cousin—seeks sanctuary in a city monastery where the abbess forces him to wear a chastity cage to protect the innocence of the dwellers, but the plan goes south because a demonic succubus that saphically corrupted the same cousin he's hiding from becomes interested in the very same monastery and its no-longer-so-innocent nuns, all for the noble goal of opening the gates of hell (let's keep moral ambiguity out of our smut stories), and the AI will happily write this entire premise but then casually mention that medieval monasteries had "stone walls" when everyone knows they were built with limestone blocks, not just generic "stone."
