Offspring got a friend over. They involved even the sibling and now they took off for a playground run. Wife as solo chaperone so I suddenly got free time on my hands. What now? Instructions were clear: to get some rest too. But I could clean up the study room, or I could work on some work projects and clock an extra hour or two. Both would be net good, but do I go against orders? 🤔

Felt bold after #drunkstr, decided to make Italian-inspired sauce with cream cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan, and white beans (and bacon to sweeten the deal). Half of the offspring disliked the tomatoes, wife is cold-footed about beans, but I hoped that bacon, sun-dried tomatoes, and parmesan would be enough to offset it, but to little avail. Finger-licking good if you ask me... granted I lick fingers after a lot of things, but I still think it's good😅 #foodstr
