Another problem with mirroring content. Losing threads like this ๐

There is a famous poem, 'The Road Not Taken,' by Robert Frost. What grinds my gears is that a lot of people interpret it as being about taking the road less traveled. There are even translations in my language that butcher the original nuances and leave no room for alternative explanations.
I would argue it's about how we rationalize (even romanticize) our decisions. Since Frost explicitly stated that the roads were 'really about the same' and only ages and ages after the fact would he claim about taking the one 'less traveled by.'
Does the translation in your language keep this nuance? #asknostr
I am all for mirroring relays, e.g. from Mastodon, 'fake it until you make it' style. But I would still appreciate some flag/badge/DM that would inform you: 'Hey, you are interacting with someone who can't see your reactions.'
Where should I fill an issue for that? #asknostr

(I think I already posted from this photoset/with her, but not this one in particular. What can I say, she has something I can't pinpoint that makes my heart pound faster. Sadly she inclines towards hairy photoshoots... but such is the life of an adventurer)
(I think I already posted from this photoset/with her, but not this one in particular. What can I say, she has something I can't pinpoint that makes my heart pound faster. Sadly she inclines towards hairy photoshoots... but such is the life of an adventurer)Whenever my subconscious mind needs a flat for any of its wild fantasies, it always uses one I have visited only two or three times tops. It was my friend's student living space she coshared with a couple of other people. I was only friends with her, but one of her friends caught my eye (only my eye, I was in a relationship already...). Time passed and it turned out I really liked her friend's past version, not much the current one. #nevermetyourheroes I guess. My friend on the other hand is aging like fine wine...
Wonder if this all has something to do with my fantasies taking place in that place even after all these years. ยฏโ \โ _โ (โ ใโ )โ _โ /โ ยฏ
I have complicated emotions toward 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,' but I really identify with the moment when the photographer finally sees the animal he wanted to take a picture of for so long, and just decides to observe instead.
Like now, I wanted to post some note I found in my head as 'must-share,' but it's slightly drifting away. And I learned just to be happy observing its shape fading into the mindscape. #forbetterorworse #drunkstr
I have always thought that 'happy stoic' (replace with any other expressive emotion) was an oxymoron...but like with almost anything, popular media muds the water. Turns out, stoic philosophy derives peace from inner alignment and acceptance, not from avoiding feelings and blindly accepting the environment
And I think it's beautiful.
I just got first-row seats to a girl flashing me while rewrapping her towel after a shower. Granted, it was through a window and she was on an elevated floor, but come on, I am in an elevated bus and you neighbor one of the main streets!
Did she forget, didn't care, or was she just happy for an audience? Let's tread my stoicism path and say you wanted to make some stranger happy. Appreciated ๐
The human mind is a strange place. Mine, for instance, strongly prefers to travel with the grain. If I have to choose between two bus stops - one in my general direction of travel, the other closer and easier to reach but in the opposite direction - it takes tremendous force of circumstances for me to choose the latter.

Using LLMs really fucks up time tracking on projects. I am often running multiple agents on projects simultaneously, because they need less and less supervision with every release/tune-up. But let's put it on the 'problems that are good to have' shelf...
