Pretty much just my shower thoughts 🚿🧠 But I do other things like... Developer Advocate at Lightning Labs | Organizer of San Juan Bitdevs | Founder of Velas Commerce
Epstein, AI... It's a jarring moment for humanity. Things are being revealed, things are changing. The world as we knew it is gone.

And if we are going to have values and live by them, then we have to apply them also to our friends. Let’s dive into Bitcoin people noted in the files… Remember in 2008 Epstein plead guilty to “Procuring a child for prostitution”. This was public knowledge. Blockstream: they met with and took funds from Epstein in 2014 which at the very least is a massive failure in due diligence and more likely a moral failing in being willing to do business with a known pedophile. They should get some heat for that. ...And, it seems Back even met up with him in the Caribbean!!! Although no evidence to show that he went to THE island. Coinbase: they took money from Epstein in 2014, again, at the very least this is a massive failure in due diligence and more likely a moral failing in being willing to do business with a known pedophile. They should get some heat for that. MIT Media Lab: their former director Joi Ito was very connected to Epstein. He had to step down in 2019 when he accepted donations from Epstein. And so anyone very connected to MIT Media Lab needs to treated with some caution. Saylor: apparently he went to an event hosted by Epstein, although it seems Epstein did not like him and they did not have much interaction. Jeremy Rubin: This is a surprise… Jeremy??? No!! Jeremy discussed Bitcoin development with Epstein and met up with him in person. And it seems he also took funds from him although I couldn't find that email myself. With the above people they had a financial relationship with Epstein, but there isn’t evidence to show that they participated in any child abuse. However... Brock Pierce: this one is pretty ugly. Brock clearly had deep financial ties to Epstein, but also, he sent an email with attached photos to Epstein titled “Anastasia” and simply saying “The Ukraine is now my favorite country. :-)”. ...what might that mean? At this point anyone still doing business with Brock has some explaining to do. Shout out to… Gavin Andresen: He’s in the files, but it seems just because Epstein was trying to meet with him, but Gavin declined the meeting request. I’m no fan of Gavin's, but credit where credit is due 👏 It’s very possible that I’ve missed something here. Please send links if you have corrections or more people to note here.
Two ways to combat the social engineering: Know your values. Write them down, name them, and live by them. Clear values make you hard to manipulate by shifting culture. Build and use decentralized tech. Prevent concentrations of power. centralized systems will always be co-opted.
I’m sorry, but it’s true, a secret group of pedophilic, probably cannibalistic, psychopathic rapists are very intentionally manipulating culture & politics & your mind. It’s right vs left, men vs women, black vs white for us, but for them it’s just the elite vs the cattle.
It sucks to wake up & realize you’re living in a sci-fi authoritarian dystopia. But look it in the eye. Read the files. Pay attention to the meetings w/Epstein, Bannon, gov officials... Harvard evolutionary dynamics professor. It’s massive social engineering.
Over and over we learn, if you build a massive power structure it will be taken over by the most horrific humans planet earth has ever produced. The only way to keep humanity from being taken over by psychopaths is to prevent the concentration of power.

What irritates me about the Bad Bunny drama is how out of touch people are with themselves. People will find ridiculous reasons to not like something because they can’t be honest with themselves about why they really dislike it. Reasons given to me to dislike the Bad Bunny half time show: - There was zero white people or English… so how would you qualify Lady Gaga’s appearance? - The show was rude to attendees as it was designed for those watching on TV… yes, but also so have nearly all the half times shows lately. Remember the Weeknd’s whole bit inside the house of mirrors? - It was gay propaganda… it was 14 mins of intense, even slightly graphic heterosexuality, and a real heterosexual wedding! But with about 2 seconds of homoeroticism. Literally blink and you miss it. - He only sings about Puerto Rico and not ‘normal’ or mainland things like other artists… A lot of the songs in his set were about clubbing and did ya miss the song about New York? - He has a lot of very graphic songs and doesn’t have to sensor himself cuz it’s in Spanish and that’s a double standard… he does have a lot of graphic songs, and he bleeped out the more graphic words in the songs that he sang at the show. It’s just lazy. Especially now when we can all just ask Google or ChatGPT. Please do 2 mins of research before your next internet rant. Now for some people their disapproval of Bad Bunny’s show was simply racism, but for most I think it's that his style and recent focus steps on their world view. A lot of people wanted to see ‘rah rah American the Greatest!’ at the superbowl, and Benito gives ‘rah rah, look at the colonialism you’re still doing.’ And that is really why there is so much push back. And please just be honest about that.
But of course citizenship is not really the issue here. The issue is that Benito does not play into the "America the greatest" narrative. He highlights the issues. Puerto Rico is a colony, the US is still doing colonialism and we don’t want to look at that. And this is why he gets so much heat. This drama is about people who want to believe a fairytale about what the US has been, is, and will be. Bad Bunny shows a side of things that they don't want to see. image
With OpenClaw blowing up and after a bunch of great convos at Vision Weekend I’m rethinking my personal AI + productivity setup. Not just “vibe-coding” tools, but my whole workflow. Any recommendations? How about privacy-focused setups?
Let’s not forget that the previous administration also had all these files. They were aware of the extent of the depravity and they did nothing… nothing. Because this isn’t a Republican or a Democrat issue, it’s all of them. And let’s not forget that the only reason we have as much info as we do now is because we did not let this go. The public demanded the files. And so we can’t stop now, we have to keep demanding that all of them…. ALL of them see their day in court.
Whoever approved these redactions needs to be in jail for protecting pedophiles. image
Bad Bunny does do a great job of representing Puerto Rico. I was driving around this morning and took a dip through the country side. I was just looking around thinking "This whole place looks like a Bad Bunny set." 😝
