Several of my no-coiner friends have reached out to me recently asking how I'm doing after the "Bitcoin crash". I've just been responding with this image.
So many fake accounts out there. Be careful and make sure you know who you're interacting with. In the last 24 hours I've been followed by a fake @jack mallers, a fake @Bitcoin Magazine, and a fake @HODL. They copy the profile and respost posts to make it look legit.
Don't trust, verify.
Tried transferring some sats from my non US-based cold wallet to my CashApp and it got rejected. They said "we cannot accept deposits from this address, please provide a new address for your funds to be forwarded to".
Forwarded them to Coinbase and then right back to CashApp without a problem.
The concept of clean coins is going to hit a lot of people like a truck. It was certainly an eye opener for me.
Having decentralized money is cool and all, until the powers that be decide they don't want to play the game anymore and shut you out. They're going to make it more and more difficult to opt out of the rat race. That's why it is so important to continue developing this parallel financial system.
They think that by making it inconvenient to live on a BTC standard, that people will just give up and continue propping up their dying system, but all they're doing is fueling the orange fire burning in my mind.

I told one of my casual friends that I was switching to a Bitcoin standard and they said "don't do that bro.. that's dumb".
A masterclass on telling me that you don't know what you're talking about, without telling me you don't know what you're talking about.
Every time I interact with DeFi I am just blown away again and again. This entire parallel financial system is willing itself into existence and so many people are still completely unaware.
We are absolutely going to win. ๐ฆ
