Rabbithole conniseur; I enjoy random stuff. :D
Ex-Furry, (close to) blind, hobby developer/sysadmin, waifu enjoyer, long hair fetish (#hairjob).
I sometimes talk about NSFW stuff; because fucking is fun =)

If you are familiar with Netbird, please help. x)

NetBird
Network Routing from homelab to VPN hub IPs
Hello! I set up Netbird on a Linux (Debian 13) host using Podman, then also installed Netbird on the host itself to connect as a peer as well to e...
Okay this bot is useful. It can stay. uwu

Wanna see real gatekeeping?
https://www.reddit.com/r/opnsense/comments/1s6d7hu/we_made_the_best_opnsense_arm64_router_on_the/
That dude from slovakia went out of his way to port and build this router and put OpenWrt and OPNSense on it. And he is completely transparent about it - which parts are and aren't vibe coded, how the review process is laid out and that they onboarded a known maintainer to the project.
Yet, if you look at the comments, they're like ARR NUHHHH
Bunch of idiotic assholes. Seriously wtf. As if they don't want the project to move forward and grow further?!
Idiots.
Apparently, Valve decided to... lift a finger.
But only one.
Slightly.
Reaction-ception?!
Didn't even know clients let you do that lmao xD
Did you do that in a client or via another tool @Silberengel ?

I still stand by that opinion. The best LLM for coding is yourself.
I still stand by that opinion. The best LLM for coding is yourself.I am "graduating" from Headscale, the selfhosted Tailscale. Because where I venture, I need something *bigger*.
Moving to wg-easy with hub-spoke to go far beyond my current setup and swallow my whole home network in it, aand also part of my friends' and my parents' as two off-sites.
Basically:
my homelab -> vps
friends homelab -> vps
parents network -> vps
VPS acting as a, well, hub. x) Subnet routing on all the levels and whatnot, this'll be wild. x)
Interesting idea. Wasn't there a P2P Nostr thing developed? Could swear I saw it fly by on Github...

There is not enough in-browser translation to handle this onslaught lol

I spent way too much time going through all the KDE things i can install today... xD
Flatlined my win10 on my Razer Blade today and put CachyOS on it - and dude, the things that just worked this time around, are insane.
- Screen magnification was enabled by default
- Color inversion was bound by default, just had to enable it
- Installed flatpak, flatseal and Bazaar just fine
- Had to install xdg-portal stuff to get icons to show up; not a big problem, just wish this was a little more obvious
- Got Brave and all my usual defaults to work just fine.
- When it wasn't in the repos, it was on flatpak. Perfect.
My laptop is doing absolutely fine and well and this is reeeeeally nice. Just took me a moment to find Skanpage to scan stuff and I haven't figured out how to connect my network-attached printer (same unit, Epson XP-7100). I also had to modify /etc/fstab to get my NFS shares to work using `noauto`. A little annoying but not a deal-breaker, a systemd user unit might just help here.
But like, the accessibility stuff. THAT just working and doing so very well is sooooooooo important for me and my use-case. I friggin love this. <3
Gonna test external screen and all the other stuff later, for now I am just happy as heck :3
Okay, I'm done. I looked out for emdashes on Reddit posts today and there were too many.
Gonna go look for an extension that just instantly yeets everything with an emdash. Too fkn tired of this. It's literally in my Nostr bad-word list on it's own lol.
"Dead Internet Theory"... x.x
So, apparently, this is what ChatGPT thinks I look like...

Still have to read the specs for all those events buuuuut should I set up to blurt a few important git repos into the network, I want a share-able webUI I can post to people...and this is the one.

gitworkshop - Decentralized Git
Decentralized GitHub alternative over Nostr
Was upgrading my strfry to 1.1.0 and saw this event dropping by:
Did not know those events existed - and I certainly like what this relay is announcing there. hrrrm. <3
This is goood stuff =)
Nostr Event 30166 - Kind 30166
Both LMStudio and liteLLM got compromised.
... lol.
Like, I am equally not surprised and laughing at AI bros. Granted, LMStudio is pretty neat and all, but ... iunno, I just find this funny.
