I have been Linux-only for ~12 years.
And I ❤️ KDE Plasma.

I've noticed that with every update, Signal works worse and worse, new bugs, new strange solutions UX (or are they bugs?), etc.
SimpleX.chat is now simply the best messenger I've been dreaming about for 10 years.
Hmm, now even Nostr is gradually being flooded with crazy antifa and other types of ultra-lefty-commies and other aggressive scum.
I thought Fediverse had been enough for them all these years.
Lately, I've been hearing from accounts that praise the European Union, saying that there is freedom of speech in the EU.
Invite this guy to speak in Germany, Belgium, or Sweden, and you'll see what happens to him.

What could be the problem that I don't see a reply in Yakihonne (Web) but I see the reply in Yakihonne (Android), considering that both of them use the same relays?
The only thing I don't like about #Nostr is that you need to use several clients to use it properly.
I understand that the protocol is still in its infancy, but damn... 😒
If you trade air there, you're gay.
not #Monero, not #XMR, #HyperLiquid

Today I bought the following with Monero:
1 flat white
1 borscht
1 syrniki
The owner of a small café now accepts XMR. I won't say where, but he will add the place to Monerica and XMRbazaar.

I am looking forward to it no less than Serai.

An excellent question for @fluffypony on @npub1jcym...2890 srteam.
More and more people are noticing not only the fact that Monero has been actively fought against for many years (both technically and socially/in the media), but also the fact that nothing has been able to destroy the Monero project so far, and it has only made it stronger.
I am one of those who get satisfaction every time I see XMR delisted from any centralized exchange. And the larger the exchange removes XMR, the higher my level of satisfaction. By the way, back in ~2017, I predicted that sooner or later XMR would be removed from the major (large) centralized exchanges.
Why do I think that delisting XMR from centralized exchanges is a positive thing?
1) The more difficult it is to buy/sell XMR, the more a __non-technical person__ appreciates the XMR they have received, and the less desire they have to sell it/convert it to fiat;
2) The Monero community culture is focused on educating newcomers on how to use XMR as digital money by directly purchasing goods/services with XMR; [ take a look at Monerica and XMRbazaar ]
Thanks for the podcast (@btcqna, @MaxBitbuybit, @sethforprivacy), it was fun. View quoted note →
Play with the state by the state's rules in state games = receive the corresponding prizes.
Seriously, I'm all for banks showing their power and crushing CEXs. More people will start looking for alternatives.
There was a bit of drama.
We even thought that it wouldn't happen in 2026...
But no! It's happening!

I often hear this.
1) Lightning Network is a semi-functional crutch that often doesn't work properly even between two different custodial wallets.
2) ecash is a custodial solution that works great for amounts of $1-20-50, but if you need to buy something more expensive, then another risk arises.
3) Fiat on/off ramps and Monero. For some reason, it just so happens that only people in rich countries like Europe, the US, Canada, and Australia have these problems.
The rest of the world copes perfectly well with Hawala (or, as cool kids call it "over-the-counter/OTC/p2p" chats), RetoSwap.com, and various services from KYCnot.me, and dozens of swappers.
And BTW, Monero is used as a digital currency. :)
Due to the fact that governments and regulators are fighting Monero with delists from centralized exchanges, people have developed an even stronger culture of buying things directly with XMR, without a fiat proxy, using Monerica.com and XMRbazaar.com.

I can't remember how many times I've heard stories that as soon as a Bitcoin-only business adds Monero, the number of XMR payments overtakes BTC.
