I so fucking regret promoting #Matrix 10 years ago. It was shit 10 years ago, and it's still shit today. A zoo of clients, none of which work properly. The main server Synapse is on Python. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Dendrite (on Go) is in alpha~beta since 2017 up to this day. The main client "Element Desktop" is based on Electron (= shit). It's just fucking awful. And it shows the level of European IT tech. The only thing I like is that Matrix sucks money out of different governments, and in 10 years they haven't been able to do anything decent, which shows once again that all Europe and the EU can produce is bureaucracy and to redo what has already been redone so that you can start redoing it again.
