What kind of mental freak would you have to be to buy this?

My favorite Nostr client @YakiHonne — got an update. It's great that the developers are responsive, and I enjoy reporting bugs to them and suggesting UX/UI improvements.

Monero is a unique project. Privacy by default = digital money/cash holds value in the eyes of people, without the need to pump its price on centralized exchanges.

It seems to me that few people talk about Valve's impressive behavior. When people say that "Gabe Newell does nothing and still wins", that’s not true. Valve is a unique company that isn't made up of psychopathic, greedy bastards eager to squeeze every last 0.01 USD out of you. I've never been a fanboy of any brand, because blind fanaticism has a negative impact on the market. But what Valve does for free and open-source software + the fact that they make money ethically from hardware = respect. Just one example — the Steam Deck. A fantastic device. Not locked down. You can do whatever you want with it, customize it, connect any controllers, and so on. And people have appreciated that. Same goes for the Steam Controller. Valve could have done what Apple or any other greedy company does to the point of psychopathy: glue the joystick shut, use the most inconvenient screws possible, solder the battery in place, and do 100500 other things to prevent you from maintaining your joystick, forcing you to always buy a new one and have it serviced only by the manufacturer, who would sell you a proprietary screwdriver for $199.90. But they didn't do that.

European dissident switched to Monero after all his bank accounts were closed. You may agree with his stance or not, but the Monero protocol couldn’t care less. And that’s the beauty of it.

It's 2026, and the "XMRbazaar" project remains unique. Can anyone tell me why?
