GM to you all 🐓🫡☕️ It's driving me nuts that, while sleeping, I had profound insight but cannot recall the specifics now that I'm awake.

Emotion + Response = Outcome This was an equation I've learned and operated under for years. Mastering this is difficult but we need to observe the emotion(s) before providing a response. Emotions are not the problem but 'unexamined' emotion is. A better equation is: Emotion + Awareness + Choice = Outcome At the moment, I am observing sadness but I know its tied to grief. And grief, has many layers of other emotions, including anger. So, I have to be careful of how I respond to stress (people and situations) if I want a positive outcome to my benefit. I told Mom to stay away from certain people because she's not at this point yet and people in her circle say the stupidest things and do not consider her grieving and how their words affect her from healing. We cannot bring him back. Stay humble and do the work!

image Like the river that never stops moving, Bitcoin brings a new kind of hope to New Orleans ... a chance for everyday folks to build, rebuild, and rise stronger than ever, together. Down here, hope isn’t something we toss around lightly. It gets tested. Over and over again, and then perfected and duplicated. In 2024, Louisiana began allowing people use Bitcoin and other digital assets to pay for certain state fees. The state has one more way for people to move money in a world that keeps changing faster than most systems do. For folks down here who don’t quite fit neatly into traditional banking, even small shifts like this matter. Around the same time, the state put clearer rules in place for owning and using digital assets. That kind of certainty counts in a city built on small businesses, musicians, service workers, and people piecing life together however they can. When the rules stop shifting under your feet, you can at least try to move forward without guessing what’s legal next week. Big step for Louisiana as a whole! Crescent Title, a New Orleans title company, publicly offered to facilitate real estate closings funded with Bitcoin (and cryptocurrencies). That doesn’t mean the city has suddenly gone crypto for housing, but it does mean that it recognizes the opportunity. The fact that this option exists shows that the tools shaping New Orleans are changing, whether we're ready or not because opportunity doesn't wait - it happens. New Orleans has never waited for perfect systems before figuring out how to survive and adapt. If this ends up helping a small business stay alive, a family move money faster, or a young person build something outside the usual traps, then it earns more than a tip of the hat. Like the Mississippi River, the current is already moving. The real question for this city is whether we shape where it goes, or just watch it roll past. Stay humble and stack stats. #NewOrleans #Bitcoin #RealEstate

When i saw this I wondered if this also undoes the executive order linking servicemen with GBM to the assumption of and exposure to burn pits. In short, no. Core benefit law is statutory, PACT Act, not purely executive-order based. I'd say that the vets are safe for now. image

I've looked into several alternative treatments for Dad before his departure. One of them was located in Scottsdale, AZ where the advertisement boasted to have cured a man. It didn’t take me long to find the man's obituary. They sucked his family dry as insurance didn't pay for his treatment. There is no cure for GBM ... no Proton Beam Therapy, no soursop tea or mushroom concoction. If a loved one has it, just be there for him or her and spend as much time as you possibly can. Because when they are gone, they're gone for good. There is no bringing them back. Nothing in the world, no monetary possession and no amount of alcohol can comfort their loss and numb the pain. All you have are memories so make them count!
