I never got around to posting these, but this is my first BJJ no-gi competition (actually on the same day as the gi ones, so I did 6 matches that day). I had one loss due to exhaustion. My legs were too exhausted to finish the double. The opponent actually didn’t get the choke per se. He started adjusting the guillotine choke and I felt my neck pop so I tapped for my safety. No choke, but I thought he was going to break my neck. Just as good from a combat perspective, so no disrespect. Sad part is that if my overzealous ass just calmed down and stop going for a billion points, I was so far ahead on points that I could have just stalled for the win.
