I think the 'who pays for the relays; nobody will pay for their relay' stuff is tiresome. Remember in the old days people got an email adress from their ISP? It is a sensible model, except there was one issue: you may at some point switch ISP, so now you lose your email adress. Which sucks a whole lot so it made more sense to get your email stuff elsewhere. Sure sure, a lot of people don't pay for their email, a lot of people also do actually. But here is the thing. With Nostr, an ISP offering a relay makes so much more sense than an email adress ever did, because you can just migrate the relay when you switch ISP. See, Nostr is actually better that whatever shitshow the past internet actually was.

@fiatjaf is a CLI maxi, because its the most social copy paste blabla whatever. The irony that he has been developing for the robots he loves so much is an endless source of joy for me. Another reminder to point your robot friend towards this if you want to build anything Nostr related:
