I have a friend who lives in New York with a $500K job. He lives in a nice apartment in the center and drives a $200,000 Porsche. From the outside, he looks like the definition of success and wealth. But he works constantly and is consumed by his job. The car is financed. The apartment is too. The lifestyle he maintains eats up all the money he makes, and he doesn’t actually own any assets. So while it may look impressive from a distance, in reality one serious change could collapse that entire lifestyle. In the end, he’s mostly servicing debt and working for other people.

When you are hungry, you will swim in saliva when you see food. Your entire body will signal "I desperately want to eat!" Everyone around will be able to read that energy. When a satiated person walks into a room full of food, he has no reaction. He doesn't crave food, he doesn't need it. It makes him calm and signals independence and superiority. The exact same things happens with a man communicating with women. Your body will signal absolute hunger and desire, which will paint you as dependant. Women read this state easily and become defensive, rejecting your every move. You can't fake it the same way you can't fake hunger. The only solution is to eat until you are full.

BEING YOURSELF doesn't mean just existing and doing nothing. There are many versions of you in yourself. The version you are now is not the most interesting one, likely, because you can put more effort and upgrade to an even cooler one. You can imagine a version of you which makes you feel excited the most and build that.

I was afraid of rejection when I was young, and then I was rejected many, many times. I was afraid of failing in business, and then I did business many times and failed. I was afraid of many other things, but then I did them all, and every imaginable outcome happened. I am alive and well. Now I’m not afraid of anything, because I understand that it doesn’t really matter and the fears were in my head. Now I just live my life fully and do whatever I want.

The lazy, fearful, weak, delusional, and unintelligent want equality — equal pay, equal rights, equal opportunities. The decisive, brave, strong, effective, and intelligent just do the work. They can't be equals, they are the best.
