I've communicated with thousands of people in my life. Here's a sad truth I've realized: most people don't understand anything you say, they just try to hold a connection.

Imagine knowing someone for a long time and then they do a plastic surgery and change their face completely. In your view it will be a new person and your relationship will start from scratch. This is what happens when you change your profile picture. It is your face to which people react and tie their emotions too. If you are spending time building an audience here, and then change your profile picture to a completely different one for no reason other than just a random thought, you are shooting yourself in your foot.

Your life experience doesn't depend on reality, it depends on your perception. If you see yourself as ugly, meaningless, and disgusting, no amount of comfort and money can make you feel good. If you perceive yourself as a great person doing incredibly good things, you will feel good even in terrible conditions. The external conditions just allow you to view yourself in a better light: "I have all this money because I work hard so I'm a great person and God loves me. I'll donate scraps to poor people to feel even better."

People are confused and lost because they overcomplicate things. "It is not that simple, studies show this and that, there are millions of facrors, everything is complicated..." While it is true theoretically, you don't have to swim in it as a normal human being who wants to live a prosperous life. Oversimplify instead. Eat real food. Be phisically active. Communicate. Manage your resources. Choose a purpose. All these things will make your life much better and they are simple.

Expecting a sportscar to drive well in off road conditions comes from misunderstanding reality. This post is not about cars.
